i was raised by a woman who deserved more than she got and i carry that shit deep in my chest

okay so i just remembered that tomorrow is friendship day. and i’m meeting my college friends tomorrow. so i thought, why not make them something handmade? i pulled out my embroidery stuff and even started, but then these cramps started killing me. plus, yesterday we went on this trekking type thing (who the hell said it was a good idea) and now my thighs are hurting like hell since morning. i'm sore and tired, and embroidery takes so much time and patience and sitting still, none of which i currently possess.
so i dropped that idea. then i was like, okay, plan b, let’s make cards. but guess what? no coloring pencils, no cute paper, not even an old wedding card to upcycle. i don’t even know if i’m just making excuses at this point. but i do want to give them something, anything, because we’re meeting tomorrow and i like these people. they deserve some love. so if you have last minute gift ideas, drop them please

i made these tiny notes. they’re really small. just whatever i could do in the moment. i’m not a very artistic person, so i decorated them however it felt right. didn’t have the energy (or courage lol) to pull off a whole full fledged card, but i still wanted to give them something so i scribbled a little something. i hope they like it
