i love how i’ve stopped using those filters that completely alter your face, the pointless whitening especially. they distort your sense of self. you begin to see your bare face as something lacking, something to be fixed, and that’s deeply unsettling. it was actually one of the things i was planning to fix this year and i'm glad i've been keeping up so well that i have used those filters a total of zero times this year.
