okay so if you didn't know, odyssey is releasing next year and i just saw the trailer and wow. christopher nolan, you keep doing it again and again and we keep applauding again and again. i already know the movie is going to be insane. i don’t care if it’s three hours, four hours, five hours long. i will sit there and fucking devour the whole movie. and the best part is that it’s releasing around my birthday. literally cherry on the cake. the only problem is, i have absolutely no one to go watch it with. like none. zero. if it was some kis kis ko pyaar karu kindamovie, i’d have ten people ready. but for this there’s no one and that’s okay. i think it’s better this way. i’ll go alone. and i will go. i’m saying it now and i’ll say it again, i am watching this film in the theatre. alone if i have to. now yes, we also need money for all of this. which i don’t have. at all. but we will figure something out. it’s around my birthday, so i will beg my mom and ask it as a birthday gift. let me rephrase that. i hate the government. i hate the politicians. i hate every political party. i’m saying this because of everything that has been happening for years, and also because of the recent unnao rape case where a politician was not just accused, but convicted, and still released. this is just one example. it’s not about one case, one party, or one person. it’s about the system as a whole. what is wrong with the law itself? how does a legal system allow convicted criminals, especially those in power, to walk free? how is justice so easily negotiated when money, influence, and politics are involved?
at this point, it feels like a joke. the law doesn’t protect people, it protects power. politicians don’t fear consequences. victims are expected to be patient while the system keeps failing them again and again. this country keeps asking for faith in institutions that clearly don’t work. and when people are angry, they’re told to be nationalistic, to stay quiet and adjust. but what exactly are we supposed to believe in anymore?

why is literally everyone going out on christmas while i (like every year) rot in my blanket? not that i don’t enjoy the coziness, but i wanna go out. but that is something way too farfetched.
