so i’ve got two major presentations coming up back to back for my major. both are on consecutive days, so basically my entire brain right now is poetry and drama.
for the poetry paper, i finally nailed down a topic and honestly i’m so satisfied with it. like it took me a while to think of something that felt both convincing and sharp, but somehow my little brain pulled it off. i’m actually kind of surprised at myself, like wow, i really came up with that? damn. it’s a solid topic, and i’m just excited to deliver it on the day.
the drama paper though, i’m still stuck thinking. dramas are so much more complex, they’re long, they have so many moving parts, and to narrow it all down to one precise angle is so much harder than with poetry. i want something equally convincing, something that doesn’t feel shallow, but it’s tricky. so yeah, i’m still wrestling with that one. but at least i’ve got half done.
