Garden of Dreams, Nepal
The Garden of Dreams in Kathmandu is a lush oasis, originally envisioned by Kaiser Sumsher Rana in 1920. This four-acre garden once mirrored the grandeur of Edwardian English gardens with six symbolic pavilions for Nepal's "six seasons."
Though it fell into neglect in 1964, a joint restoration by the Austrian government and Nepal's Ministry of Education revitalized just over an acre of this serene space.
Today, visitors can stroll through its 74,000 square feet, discovering three remaining pavilions, charming fountains, an amphitheater, and paths lined with global flora.
The garden now serves as a tranquil escape, perfect for sunbathers and wanderers, complete with the Kaiser Café Restaurant & Bar for a refreshing break.

Narchyang Waterfall, Nepal
Hidden deep in the heart of the Annapurna region, Narchyang Waterfall is one of Nepal’s most striking natural wonders. Cascading down the lush Himalayan cliffs near the village of Narchyang, this waterfall is more than 300 feet high — a silver ribbon of water threading through emerald green.
The sound here is pure — water crashing, wind whispering, prayer flags fluttering. It’s a sacred rhythm, in sync with the towering peaks around it.
To get there, follow the trails from Tatopani or Ghorepani — popular stops on the Annapurna Circuit. And when you arrive, don’t rush. Let the mist touch your skin, and feel the Himalayas breathe.
