prob nothing but I reckon bluechip is worth keeping an eye on

my guess is we keep seeing base foundation members subtly shilling it throughout the week which would make sense if there's something bigger being lined up behind the scenes

I also think a coinbase listing is a very real possibility here. obviously pure speculation for now but the breadcrumbs are starting to stack up. worth watching closely

feels pretty intentional given where the onchain narrative has been rotating lately. stocks, AI, indexes, marscoin, etc etc. everything is starting to converge around the same few themes.

base has had plenty of attention but still hasn’t really had the coin that captures the eco. if they’re going to pick a bluechip for the next phase what better candidate could there be

macro came in a little hotter than expected

durable goods beat, income and spending beat, but real personal spending was flat. inflation was also slightly hotter on the headline with the GDP price index and q2 core PCE coming in above estimates

core PCE itself was in line tho, so i don't think this is some major risk off event. more like a mildly hawkish print and probably not what the rate cut crowd wanted to see

still long but this is just something to keep in mind because hotter macro could mean a bit more chop before the next move

for now, not changing anything. still think the broader setup looks good

MU long worked out nicely. 900 was pretty much the bottom tick. grats if you tailed

NVDA's call tonight was a pretty strong confirmation of the broader memory thesis. demand is still accelerating at a massive scale and customer forecasts are pointing towards further growth + supply constraints are now expected to persist through at least FY28. the part that stood out to me the most was nvidia explicitly citing extreme memory prices as a source of margin pressure and that has been pretty much the whole bet and why I took this trade (remember the 15% price hike?)

On crypto side I do feel pretty severely underallocated to majors and have a ton of stables sitting on the sidelines but I don’t want to fomo shove everything back in

derisked pretty hard because I went on a genny run over the past 10 days and I’m okay with missing a little upside (just kidding, I’m not)

the best thing that happened to me last cycle was losing everything and being stripped down to nothingness. there is an old kabbalistic idea of the breaking of the vessels where the vessel can no longer contain what is moving through it and breaks under the pressure. from the outside it looks like destruction but on the inside it is the beginning of a different form

the Fool archetype eventually discovers something similar. you spend years building yourself out of money, status, knowledge, relationships, beliefs, achievements, all these little pieces that eventually become an identity and you tell yourself “this is who i am this is what i’m good at. this is what my life is supposed to look like” and then something comes along and takes it all away from you. suddenly you’re standing in the same place with none of the things you used to use as proof of who you were. it’s terrifying because you realize how much of the self was built around what you had accumulated

at the same time there is something sacred about being reduced to nothingness. the alchemists understood that you cannot transform the material without first breaking down its old form. “solve et coagula” or dissolve and coagulate. the old structure has to fall apart entirely before it can become something else

the deepest transformations you could ever go through will never feel like progress while they’re happening to you. At first they will feel like death and the ego calls it loss because it cannot imagine itself without the things it just lost. you’ll ask yourself why me? why is this happening to me? but the vessel was never meant to remain intact and comfortable forever it was only ever meant to change constantly and that same vessel has to break so that you can finally see what was inside
