🔔 Diphtheria is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening bacterial infection that can affect anyone — especially children.

Early recognition saves lives.
Watch out for these signs:
➡️ Fever
➡️ Runny nose
➡️ Sore throat
➡️ Cough
➡️ Red eyes
➡️ Neck swelling

📌 Diphtheria spreads through respiratory droplets and close contact with infected individuals – timely diagnosis and treatment are essential.

🚫 Do not self-medicate – it can delay proper care and worsen the condition.

🚨 If you or someone around you shows any of these symptoms, report immediately to the nearest health facility.

🛡️ Prevention is better than cure.
Ensure children are fully vaccinated and always follow public health guidelines.

Let’s stay informed to protect ourselves and our communities.

🦠 World Hepatitis Day 2025
📅 July 28
📌 Theme: “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down”

This year’s theme calls for bold action to dismantle stigma, simplify access to care, and eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030. 💪

🔹 5 types: Hepatitis A, B, C, D & E – all affect the liver but differ in transmission, prevention, and severity.
🔹 Hepatitis B is 100x more infectious than HIV — yet preventable with a vaccine.
🔹 Hepatitis C is curable with modern treatment.
🔹 A simple blood test can save a life.

Know the facts. Break the stigma. Get tested. Get vaccinated.
