#Mpox mainly spreads through contact with the

➡️blood or body fluids of infected animals, mostly via bites, scratches, handling, or eating inadequately cooked meats.

➡️virus from an infected person or contaminated materials

Visit a healthcare centre close to you if you notice symptoms associated with #mpox.

Severe cases of #cholera can lead to death within hours due to massive loss of body fluid.

Ensure prompt administration of oral rehydration solution (ORS) to replace lost fluids and visit a health care facility immediately for proper treatment.

❗️Rash containing pus on the face, palms, soles of the feet and genitals
❗️Persistent headaches
❗️Sudden fever
❗️Swollen lymph nodes
❗️Body pain and weakness

Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for managing #mpox.
In epidemiological week 40, our National #Mpox Emergency Operations Centre reported 6 confirmed cases of #mpox.
