Caption:0 Hello everyone,

I'm very excited to announce that my self titled EP 'Man-Made Sunshine' will be out on November 11th [pre-save link in stories and bio]. This collection of songs was never really meant to be anything other than a vehicle to help me navigate my way through healing, a way I could release the trapped memories that were blocking me from growing and finding my truest most unequivocal self. At the time of writing I wanted to create a group of songs in a certain vibration that I could tune into whenever I felt myself slipping...like a friend to sit with and be understood by. Fast forward to the present, releasing this EP feels like the right time for me as I tread into the 'unknown' on the other side. I feel comfortable showcasing the dark personal matter in hopes that it may offer solace to another. I hope if you need you can tune into them too and they offer some comfort to you.

On a side note, buzzing to finally show you the artwork too! In fear of sounding like a pretentious twat, the truth behind this artwork is that the idea came to me from my favourite poem 'Funeral Blues' by W. H. Auden. He writes 'pack up the moon and dismantle the sun' suggesting he doesn't need them after he loses someone dear to him. For me the sentiment felt reversed, healing by building my own sun, my own happiness. Also realising how much getting back into the natural elements of where I lived was so important in the healing process and important to me in general going forward. Created by the loveliest of men @lukebrickett thank you for being amazing and patient with my anxiety/excitement fueled late night messages! And again thank you to my boys in Nothing But Thieves, my lovely managers, my amazing record label and all of my friends and family who believed in me and the project.
