Currently enjoying a BASED & RED PILLED, candle lit bath π
How can that be based and red pilled you might wonder?
Well, my dear friend, that is because my candle is a Celtic Moon candle, known as 'White Christmas' and on top of that, my shampoo and soap are both produced by the wonderful Claire at Clean & Pure.
The soap being, 'Lemongrass & Ginger,' and the shampoo being, 'Lime Cooler Bar.'
Luv me citrus! π
Video review coming soon! (Don't get too excited ladies.)
Thank you for contributing to the Nationalist Economy @BarkleyWalshChannel

Concoda's substack presents what I think is one of many misunderstandings when it comes to CBDCs and their intent. The knee-jerk reaction is to see it motivated as the state needing another surveillance tool. But agencies like the IRS & DEA are already readily capable of monitoring cash transactions.
If you read the early (pre-2019) literature on what at the time were called "virtual fiat currencies," you'll notice that they are all linked to executing monetary policy more efficiently and are always administered by the central bank instead of the national government. Why is that?
It's because advancing mass surveillance objectives, something totally outside the purview (let alone the interest) of the central bank, was not an original motive. In reality, they're purposed to have programmable interest rates and direct access to accounts for "helicopter money drops".
This will totally change the meaning of (and limit on) QE and QT. Not only would central planners be able to tighten their balance sheet more surgically β adding or dropping interest rates on select products, in certain regions, and for select accounts β but also to inject money into "stress points" as they see fit. The idea of "rate hikes/drops" would change from sweeping target rates issued by all creditors/lenders, to select rates based on a spending profile.
Central planners were therefore able to justify endless QE because the only models which they wanted to look at suggested that insane changes in the money supply could be managed with "surgical" interest rate hikes/drops and money injections to stress points.
Needless to say, the resulting economic dislocations will be a nightmare.

The West (and UK in particular) is having trouble finding concrete reasons to implement CBDCs. There are good reasons for that...
Just published this short essay on substack to address this and make the case against CBDCs:

If your theory of how we ended up in this mess is that "Anglo-Saxon Liberalism caused trannies and White genocide," then you need to explain why it didn't even come close to doing those things for the hundreds of years it existed before the 1960s.
