Today was a Q&A session for the participants of the seminar on Self-Regulation (it took place in Sep), and I want to thank everyone for being an inspiration! Such awesome results within a month!
Here are some of them:
- "the pain in my calf went away"
- "I lost 7 kilos"
- "my tailbone doesn't hurt any more"
- "my neckpain went away"
- "the ultrasound showed that my body is healing properly after the surgery"
- "I do the exercises daily, and improvents are real"
The point of the practice is to give the power back to people. People have the power to self-regulate not only their healing processes, but their energy, their inner state, and their emotions too.
We are doing the next seminar (the 2nd in the system of 4 seminars) on October 15 - "Self-regulation and Dao Yoga. Heal and replenish your energy"
The workshop is in two languages (Boris speaks Russian, and there will be consecutive interpreting in English)
If you'd like to learn very down-to-earth practical tools and exercises to self-regulate your energy, I'm inviting you to practice with my teacher. He has over 30 years of working with energies of individuals, communities, cities, and global events.
I am a student here too, and I'm sharing this because it's so needed. Everyone needs the knowledge to take care of their own energy, body, mind, and soul. The most important skill that I've been practicing in the last few years is self-regulation. You can hope for a change to happen ... or you can bring about a change by being conscious with your thoughts and actions.
There is not a lot of information online yet, but you can apply and book your spot now and I will send you the invitation when the webpage in English is ready. The number of seats is limited. There will be NO replay.
The price is the same for each seminar (EUR 300 or 20,000 RUB for a full-day online event + regular sync-up calls for participants, group practice, and unlimited feedback and help with your specific situations)

I sent this message to one of my students today, and I feel that many learners are in the same situation.
People find themselves in a repeat situation hoping that this time the outcome will be different.
We have to find ourselves in repeat situations to understand what behaviour we need to change or stop for the outcome to be different.
You can see the new only in the repetitive and the familiar. People want the curriculum, the teacher, the book, the exercise, the technology to be newer, better, more effective… and I’m not saying these elements are not important. They are.
However, it’s equally important to make decisions with your free will to change your own detrimental behaviours.
Here are examples of behaviours that prevent people from progressing faster (instead of moving forward, they are stuck in a repeat situation):
1. “I don’t have time for my homework”
2. “I don’t want to learn. I just want to instantly know”
3. “I get upset when I realize how many mistakes I’ve made and it demotivates me to continue”
4. “I don’t want any corrective feedback. I want my teacher to only praise my efforts, because a good teacher is someone who helps me feel good”
5. “I want the change to be easy, I want my results to be perfect, I want learning to be effortless”
6. “I just need to endure this one course so that I never have to do any exercises again”
7. “I don’t need to learn to do it myself. I have a teacher who gets paid for correcting my mistakes and making me feel good about my progress”
The question is not “How can I learn English better?”, but “How can I become a better learner?”, which is inseparable from “How can I become a better person?”
What behaviors can you change in repeat situations to start moving toward a different result?
Here is an exercise for you:
Write down your behaviour pattern (who do you see yourself do in repeat situations?) If you don’t see your behavior in the examples above, write your own.
Then write the opposite behavior next to it.
For example, if your behavior is “I don’t want to hear any corrective feedback because all I want is to feel good”, the opposite would be “I can listen to the feedback and ask my teacher to help me correct these mistakes. I can ask for an exercise that I can do with the intent to replace those speaking habits with better, natural-sounding phrases in English. When I see the change, I will actually feel good about myself and my results”.
The next step of the exercise is to practice this new behavior in a repeat situation.
