"You're Not Bad at English — You're Afraid to Be Heard" | Self-Correction vs Self-Censorship
I'm Natalia, and I am not a native speaker.
I am self-taught.
I design learning systems.
I love helping people get to native-like fluency and express their FULL authentic self in English.
Self-correction is THE most important skill. It's not about counting…

I just had my private accent class.
Here are the words I practiced to say differently.
Can you read the words?
My homework for this week is to do the self-corection practice with these.
We don't work only on my accent.
We change the perception of WORDS and SOUNDS. Because let me tell you this - ALL of us who learned English as a foreign language in school - we all learned to read English incorrectly.
We have a broken perception of the sounds that each letter or a combination of letters stands for.
So, we change the way we perceive language.
The way we read and hear it.
And this changes how we SAY it and how we SPEAK.
If you want to join American accent training, we're filling the advanced group now.
Leave a comment if you want to join and I'll send the details.

Watch this.
If this resonates,
If this touches you on a deeper level than “I need to improve my English”,
If you KNOW in your body that the mismatch between how you feel and how you sound is real,
Then you’ll gain so much from this accent practice!!!
Leave a comment of DM me @nataliatokar to join the new advanced accent group.
P.S. if you’re now sure whether you’re advanced enough for this training, comment anyway.
You can start with the accent assessment and we will direct you to what’s best for you.
