Just shared a new episode of Natalia Reads with the community members.

This is a teaser. I absolutely loved reading a chapter from David Deida’s “Intimate Communion”.

- How did it help me in my language practice?
- How can YOU use this piece to work on your melody and rhythm?
- The words I am still struggling with and the exercises I’m going to do to work on them?

I’m sharing all this with the community members.

Work with the content that inspires you.
But make sure you do the work that improves your skills instead of mindlessly consuming content.

I’m always inspired by beauty. How about you?

P.S. to listen to the full chapter and practice with the transcript go to the section “READ DIFFERENTLY” in the community of practice.

📩To join the community, DM me and tell your story. Why do you need native-like fluency in English? I’d love to connect! @nataliatokar

Here is a good example of being Clear using very few words. And…simple words.

You don’t have to necessarily learn new, smart, or advanced words to sound clear and real. You need to THINK in the language differently.

And you need to think.

Another great example of CLARITY.

The difference between happiness and pleasure ⬆️

Can you explain your ideas in 3 min or less in English? I love this challenge and the practice of reducing the clutter, strengthening my ideas and arriving at a clear message.

Good questions to ask yourself:

What is governing my commitment to improving my English?

Am I expecting myself to fail or get disappointed…and that’s why I’m not fully committed?

Am I expecting results without embodying true devotion?

Another good reminder of what “inner state” is really about.
2🔥1
Your inner state shapes everything that happens in your world.
I know this from experience. When I’m peaceful, my baby cooperates when I need to work out. When I’m trusting, the right words flow effortlessly—I don’t have to try hard to access them. When I’m loving, the world itself feels like a sanctuary of beauty and meaning.

But… when I worry, my mind takes me on toxic loops. I lose words—even in my native language. I’m late to meetings. The items I need are suddenly out of stock. My day feels impossibly short. My family senses my tension, and this energy ripples through our home.

So I ask myself: Do I choose to complain, or do I choose to create?

Your inner state is a choice—a practice—not a product of what others do. When you’re deep in conversation in a foreign language, no one will “save” you from your own fears, toxic thoughts, or unconscious somatic reactions.
Choosing faith in your ability to learn and change is a choice.
Choosing daily, conscious steps toward growth is a choice.
Choosing to refuse the power of a nagging thought is a choice.
Choosing spontaneity over scripted safety is a choice—and it means taking a risk.

Many learners remain trapped in preparation mode: they translate every sentence in their head (or in ChatGPT) before they speak. But by the time it’s your turn to speak, all the words they have careful prepared feel irrelevant.

The moment demands presence—and a spontaneous, clear response.
To be present—and to speak with confidence in high-pressure situations—you must BE before you SPEAK.

Being happens in your body.
Speaking happens in your mind—because most of us think by talking.
Your internal state of being always determines what you say—and how you say it.
If you’re stuck translating and never truly yourself in English, it’s time for a practice being in English and to practice English differently.

Join our community and dare to practice in a whole new way.
In our Sunday LIVE sessions, you’ll discover powerful insights for developing your inner speech—and finally sound like you, in any language.

“I pretended to be someone who already spoke perfect English—and it was killing me.”

A student of mine recently shared: “I pretended to be someone who already spoke perfect English, and this was my biggest pain. I sat in front of people, smiled, and nodded as if I understood everything. I hoped no one would notice the gaps in my speech. I got frustrated when they didn’t understand me. I tried to look cool and confident. The truth is, I felt frozen and terrified someone would “call me out.”

Now I see how silly that was.

I’d been acting the part before I had the skills—and repelling exactly the connection I craved.”

By hiding her uncertainty, this client never invited anyone in. She immediately disquailfied everyone who criticized or challenged the image of herself that she had created in her mind. So, she stepped back instead of stepping forward…and towards the people and relationships she wanted in her life.

Those people could see she was pretending. She could not... for we can not see what we do not know.

It took months of intensive 1:1 coaching and group work to shift that pattern and get to the point of no return. There’s no going back to the old identity that needed constant validation for skills she hadn’t yet mastered. No more pretending.

Now, this client shows up unapologetically real in her conversations in English. She’s become so much more attractive as a human being. She is radiant in her confidence and softness.

The pressure to perform in English kills your charisma. When you’re stuck in your head, strategizing every word, you lose the very presence that makes you magnetic. You turn into someone who “is supposed to speak well and perform in English perfectly”.

True fluency comes from a state of being, not a performance. Don’t fake it. Be it.
Don’t pretend you’re someone who already knows...if you don't.

If you’re a high-performer who needs to show up powerfully in English—without pretending—let's talk.

I’ve spent 15+ years coaching non-native speaking CEOs and business owners (both men and women) to be REAL in English, which meant improving their English skills to a level that matched their high standards and their level of influence.

• They landed promotions and 50%+ raises in global companies
• They relocated to their dream countries
• They attracted international investors and partners

Your case is not unique, but it is largely overlooked.

You know why? because there are very few people like you, who will react to this post and say YES to it.

I work with the few that make the biggest difference in organizations and move the world forward with their ideas. The traditional approach has never worked with them, and never will.

DM me to discover how to speak with authentic presence and step into a higher league. I am offering more 1:1 coaching in July for very few special people. They don't wait. They don't waste time. They are ready because their life is ALREADY happening in English.

If you're ready to play the long game, DM me to schedule a 20-min discovery call. @nataliatokar
