You're missing out if you're not doing this program. The level of NUANCE is amazing. If you sell in English, if you're an immigrant and you care about the way you sound, if you're building an online presence or a YouTube empire, absolutely join. This is the best approach I have seen, and I have seen and tried many.

I wanted results, and now I have them. I also see them in others.

Everything I did before was irrelevant theory. It didn't apply to how my mouth was moving.

Join the new cohort of my signature Native-Like Fluency Program and practice full authentic expression in another language. Practice understanding and being understood. Practice being YOU, and not that person who is trying hard to sound correct. Let's get fluent in the language of feelings and emotions. Let's improve your pronunciation, accent, and flow.

Let me support the person you're becoming because you are already becoming someone new. Don't put yourself in that old box again - the box that used to define you. In 6 months from now you will have totally different relationships with people who speak English, you will be surrounded by more people who understand you. You will know how to sell yourself, express your truth, tell stories that shaped you, and inspire others with your authenticity.

The way you speak, write, sound, and think in English will change. You will learn EVERY exercise in the methodology for achieving native-like fluency and I will show you how to continue the practice on your own terms in daily life.

We begin on October 6, 2024.

If you'd like to join, comment "YES" to book a 20-min discovery call with me. We will talk about your specific needs and I will give practical recommendations to help you get started with the practice.

The question that I used as my journaling prompt for a few months.

“How did you love before you knew hurt?”

This question started my unlayering process. Day after day I peeled back layers of what wasn’t mine. I shedded my armor, allowed more softness, dropped the masks, and there were many!

My biggest epiphany was that I’d been trying too hard to live up to other people’s expectations. This exhausted me, and then I rebelled against them. Then I tried to mend the relationships and be “a good person” in their eyes again. Of course, I did all of this unconsciously.

My body suffered. Constant tension in my traps, nervous laughter, chaotic speech, hectic movements… I saw all that but couldn’t do anything. It felt like my body’s unconscious reactions controlled my day. Until I learned to make friends with my body, to trust it more, and to embody the skills that I’m learning.

I answered this question every day in English, but the answers changed my whole being and the way I express myself in any language.

How to learn effectively in a group with other people?
Is watching the recorded classes as effective as participating LIVE?

I have students who ONLY watch the replays. They can never join us online because of their other commitments or simply because we live in different time zones.

They are the most successful students. They understand what it means to OWN their learning process.

Do THIS to learn effectively, and all your investments will PAY OFF:

- Watch the replays of the accent classes that you missed.

- Absolutely watch the replays of the classes that you attended. This is a unique opportunity to look at yourself differently and get to see how others see you.

- If you joined a group session, PAY ATTENTION to what other people say. Don't get distracted. Don't check your phone. Everything they say applies to you too. Otherwise you wouldn't be in the same group.

- Don't wait for your turn to speak during group sessions. Ask questions. Be proactive. Listen carefully. Take notes. Summarize your takeaways. Share them with others.

We need group work as much as we need 1:1 sessions. We learn FROM and WITH people, and only through other people can we see ourselves.

October 2, 2024: Real & Raw with Joni and Natalia. Moving from autopilot to conscious connection.

We will go LIVE this Wednesday!

So many English learners struggle to express their true emotions and be authentic with others.

This LIVE will allow you to see Joni’s work. We will look at a real situation, a real struggle and see how we can untangle it with the help of language.

We can use the language to build genuine connections with others. The goal is better relationships. The goal is to be yourself with others, whatever language you speak.

Let’s talk more about this.

Can you relate?

1. Your friends know you as someone with great sense of humor. But you don’t feel like sharing jokes in English. The last time you did, no one laughed.

2. You’re outgoing and confident. But every time you go to a job interview, you struggle to express your true nature. People see you as someone uptight, someone who talks at people rather than with people. They see you as someone who’s not easy to deal with, unwilling to share, entitled, and insecure. You attack before they reject you.

3. You are angry, but you don’t know how to express your anger and not get fired. You don’t know how to talk about your pain without harming the relationship or blaming the other for your pain. You end up smiling and suppressing what you really experiencing because “you don’t know enough English words for that”. The truth is, not having enough English words to express anger is not the real problem. The fear of being ostracized and rejected is what forces people to say YES to surface-level connections when they want something deep and real.

4. You’re asked to speak up at work, to share your opinion in meetings, to inspire your team. But every time you have to do so, your mouth doesn’t want to cooperate. “What will all these people think? What if I make more mistakes than I am supposed to? What if I sound stupid instead of smart? What do you mean? I don’t know how to be an inspiration in English!”

So, you keep silent again… You act small again.

You feel like you’ve been made for more, but you keep putting yourself back into that small box that labels you as “good”, “agreeable”, and “reliable”, but never “fierce”, “intuitive”, “magical”, “courageous”, “thinking big”, “masterful”, “exceptionally competent”, “honest”, or “charismatic”.

In all the scenarios above, there’s a mismatch between how we feel inside and how we perform in the world.

Between how we see ourselves and how others see us. It’s what we know about ourselves but struggle to express.

We want to be authentic, but end up hiding again…

The language is not just a set of letters and sounds. It’s a representation of culture. We can’t understand people without understanding their culture and what values the people of this culture embody. The way they speak is how they embody their culture. To be understood, we need to speak THEIR language. Translating our cultural values to another language will never work. Translation alone will never be enough.

We can’t become someone new before we know who we are today. To close the gap between who you are today and who you want to be when you speak in English, you need to see the gap.

Native-Like Fluency is not about the number of English words you know. It’s about developing a second language identity, I.e. becoming a new person. Someone who can express themselves fully and authentically in another language, and in any language.

Meet the people who practice.

Do you record yourself?
Do you know what to do with these recordings to create a lasting result?
Do you want help with your practice?

Join us and meet these amazing individuals. Each and every one of them reminds me of a precious gem stone. There are no two gem stones that are the same, even though they are all "stones".

People are beautiful. Their transformation is mesmerizing.

We have been fooled to believe that isolation, independence, and aloneness is true success. We were told that people would doubt us and let us down, so we should be independent and go alone. Other people are seen as enemies, wanting to take our power away.

This is not true. Find YOUR people. We can go far only together. We learn with and from people.

There's always going to be someone smarter, bigger, more successful than you. Don't compete with them. Learn from them.

I've been sharing the same message for 8 years.... and 8 years ago they laughed at me.

They were right too. I didn't embody my own philosophy back then. I was still learning. I still am.

It feels like my message came out ahead of its time. No one spoke about self-development, self-regulation, healing, or identity 8 years ago. At least, never in the context of language learning. Language learners were supposed to be able to pass tests, that was it. I was never interested in tests.

I wanted to learn to be myself with others when I spoke in a different language. That was a huge problem. I couldn't be myself. I felt limited, I acted small, I was quiet when I wanted to be loud, I spoke like a child even though I had grand ideas, and I knew nothing about nurturing relationships. I was used to constant misunderstanding until I learned that it didn't have to be constant.

I have been teaching for 17 years. I've been actively developing the methodology for 8. Only now I get more and more positive feedback like in the screenshot above. People say they understand, they can relate, they can feel it.

My practice is to never stop practicing. If I had stopped, I would've never had a coomunity of amazing individuals who practice the same skills alongside me.
