- I feel so tired today...It was a day of endless meetings, and all of them were in English.
- Did you do anything to relax? Did you meditate?
This β¬οΈ is not empathy.
- I feel so tired today... It was a day of endless meetings, and all of them were in English
- You probably feel exhausted... It's a lot of pressure to perform in a foreign language all day.
The right words you say matter, but you find the right words only if you can feel another person and connect with something in yourself that knows that feeling.
And yes, we often need to learn a whole new set of words to express our feelings and emotions in another language. That's what we practice in the community.
Apply today and take your spontaneous skills to a new level.

My strength: Discipline.
My weakness: Chaos.
If I'm not disciplined, I become chaos, and everyone (including myself) suffer. I am disciplined not because I was born this way, but because I didn't want to create more chaos.
I am curious. That's a strength.
I get bored easily. This is a weakness.
I don't read books. I open books on random pages and see answers to my questions. I read good pages out loud, but I don't have time to read books from cover to cover. Someone will say "She's superficial. She can't focus".
I tell myself: "Let's use this as a tool to strengthen your intuition and derive more joy from your practice."
I create practice routines for myself where novelty is guaranteed. Without it, I'll quit. I know this about myself. I can't eat the same thing every day. I can't do the same workout every day. I need variety.
I use what I know about myself to create effective routines. I don't fight what is.
I could never memorize English words or study grammar books. I can't read 100 books a year. I can't go from Unit 1 to Unit 25. I can't pretend that I understand if I don't. I will ask questions.
I know my limitations. And I use them to create more for myself.
Let me help you see YOUR strengths and use them to learn more effectively.

The self-correction method works.
Follow the step-by-step protocol to get rid of unconscious and often unnoticed speaking patterns within 2 days. Very stubborn patterns will require 4 days.
You don't need to work "forever" to improve a specific skill. Many people do too many things instead of focusing on what's important and creating a lasting change.
The lesson on self-correction is in the community. See the welcome course "Daring Learners".
To learn more, watch the replay of today's Sunday Practice session where we did a short demo and corrected a few mistakes (this will take you about 30 min).
EXAMPLES of self-correction work:
- some people keep repeating "I do mistakes" even though they know it's "MAKE mistakes"
- some say "The main idea that..." instead of "The main idea IS that..."
- some are used to saying "everything what you told me about him" even though they know it's "everything THAT you told me about him"
Even very advanced students continue speaking on autopilot. They want to improve their English skills, but they don't know what exactly they need to work on. They know they make mistakes, but they can't put their finger on a specific mistake.
Slow down and learn this method in my community of practice. You will immediately sound 50% better if you get rid of old, stubborn mistakes. It's faster and easier than learning a bunch of new words and phrases that you probably don't even need.

Yesterday I posted these Instagram stories. I used the phrase "Peel off layers of..." and immediately after that I decided to check myself.
One of the essential skills in the methodology for achieving native-like fluency is learning to "question your own ideas" - so I did.
As a result, I found a good alternative - "peel back layers of..."
Then, today, something interesting happened. I opened my "go-to-poetry-book" - the one I use to practice my accent on busy days - and ....I wasn't even surprised by what I saw.
I opened it on the page "Sep 24", which is today. And I saw the same very phrase I had discovered the day before: "Peel back your layers".
I read the page out loud with even more enthusiasm than I expected of myself.
Intentional, deliberate practice truly works wonders. Learn to concentrate, and you will no longer need to memorize long lists of words and grammar rules. Master focus, and you won't need to waste time picking the "best" exercise from endless online resources.
Learn to pay attention, and the skills you're developing will become yours for life, even if you take long breaks.

You're missing out if you're not doing this program. The level of NUANCE is amazing. If you sell in English, if you're an immigrant and you care about the way you sound, if you're building an online presence or a YouTube empire, absolutely join. This is the best approach I have seen, and I have seen and tried many.
I wanted results, and now I have them. I also see them in others.
Everything I did before was irrelevant theory. It didn't apply to how my mouth was moving.
