Recently, Xiaomi staff announced they would open the source codes of Mi Routers.

Here're some my personal views:
1. About their kernel codes, original QSDK had provided the most ones already, so Xiaomi parts are not really important, and we aren't interested in their shitty codes as well.
2. About their OpenWrt codes, those buggy and shitty codes did nothing actually, we have perfect ones instead.
3. About their wireless codes, it's totally impossible to make them or even binaries public (forbitten by NDA), and I could also guess that they didn't have codes, but binaries only.
In short, the parts that will be public by Xiaomi, makes no or little contribution to the Open-source Community. So they're just amusing themselves, like the monkeys.
Also, they should open their kernel & OpenWrt source codes, as it was forced by GPL-2.0, but not a "contribution" to Open-source Community.

Making users easier to flash the 3rd party systems, I think this is much more real.

3. 关于无线部分，这部分包括二进制在内的文件不可能开源（可以谷歌 NDA），我也可以猜测他们甚至只有二进制文件
简而言之，基本上是一堆屎山，如果有那么一丁点作为参考的价值就已经非常不错了，剩下的是国内某些人群的自我高潮。
此外，将内核、OpenWrt 部分开源，是他们的责任（这是 GPL-2.0 所要求的），而不是一个什么多么伟大的举措。

放宽刷机限制，我觉得这更加现实。但我只看到他们不断地加大刷机难度（幸好小米各种省钱缩水，不然就有签名校验了）。
对了，小米开源他们的 OpenWrt，会把他们偷偷收集用户隐私数据那部分也公开吗？（笑

We are really working on the wireless, however if you have APs I would like to suggest you that disable wireless function on ax6 and use APs instead.
The ath11k driver is still in a very early stage and has many issues.

Well, NanoPi R2C was supported by ImmortalWrt recently, and the firmware can be found in my download site.

To be honest, I don't see the point of buying it, don't buy it if not necessary.
However, its price, is acceptable in my option.
