Hereโ€™s a spotlight on one of our native wildlife this World Wildlife Day!

The Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a small, wild cat that gets its name from its leopard-like coat.

One of Singaporeโ€™s larger carnivores, they are mostly found foraging on the forest floor with a diet consisting of frogs, lizards, birds and rats. This shy and elusive mammal has been spotted through camera traps in nature reserves, allowing us to monitor its population and movement without any disturbances.
