How to make a project automatically mark completed when all its subtasks are completed?
There is no special setting for this, because the completion of the last task does not always lead to the completion of the project. Often you need to perform some final actions and only then consciously click βοΈ indicating that the project is completed.
However, if you still need to mark a project as completed automatically, you can use a trick - one-time repetition. In the repeat settings for the project, enable:
- Auto-recur when all subtasks are completed
- Complete recurrence after 1 occurence.

Appearance settings on mobile
If your tasks have long captions, you can increase the number of visible lines.
Example: Sometimes I use MLO for my academic writing and like to write quite long sentences in the task space. I'd like to see the full text on the screen.
Solution: in MLO on Android/iOS open main menu > Settings > Appearance > Title > 5 lines.

Recur vs. Regenerate
Ever wondered what the difference is between recurring and regenerating tasks in MLO?
Recur - The next instance is scheduled based on the calendar, no matter when you complete it.
Example: π Put the bins out every second Wednesday.
Regenerate - The next instance is offset based on when you complete the task.
Example: π± Mow the lawn 10 days after it was last done.
This option allows you to tailor MLO to both fixed schedules and flexible routines.
Learn more about advanced recurrence options here

MLO Status: AWS Outage - MLO is Currently Operating Normally
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing disruptions, affecting many well-known services.
So far, MyLifeOrganized Cloud sync and website are running without interruptions. However, some internal services (such as backups) are temporarily unstable.
We are closely monitoring the situation and hope for a quick resolution on the AWS side.

π Web version progress
We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for the MLO Web App, and we want to be transparent: progress is slower than weβd hoped.
Building a full-featured web application that works reliably both online and offline and handles large datasets is a bigger challenge than just creating a web interface. Some of our resources have been focused on strengthening sync server stability and speed, which is essential groundwork but has affected the pace of web development.
On the bright side, weβre actively using AI to support design, coding, and testing, which has already improved system reliability and quality. We canβt share a release date yet, but the work is moving forward, and everyone on our beta list will be the first to get access. If you havenβt yet but would like to join the beta, you can apply here.
π€ Exploring AI with MLO
Weβre proposing a small proof-of-concept to safely explore how AI could assist with inbox processing, brainstorming, and reviews in MLO that you can try with us. See the details on our blog.
Thank you for your support. We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful holiday season and a bright, organized year ahead
