#Day10Update

Today's update is focused on reading and studying Hangul since I went out in the morning.

After coming back, I read about 20 pages of Becoming and around 50 pages of Crown of Midnight. Then I took a nap because I'll be pulling another all-nighter to work on some things.

I also read, wrote, and reviewed 40 Hangul vocabulary words. I listened to one Hangul podcast as well, and it went really well.

Now I'm back to reading my fiction book.

#Day11Update 🌙

I spent much of my time working on the JavaScript part of that quiz web app (yes... still crawling ), but I'm definitely going to finish it tomorrow or on Saturday.

After that, I continued reading Crown of Midnight. I'm having an emotional breakdown right now because I wasn't ready for what happened to one of my favorite characters. 😭 I couldn't continue reading last night, and even this morning I was like... why?! 😭
Anyway, I'm back to it again.

Before reading, I listened to a Hangul podcast and watched two episodes of a drama. 🙂

Now I'm going back to my book...

I noticed it has been a long time since I read Amharic fiction books.
I only read spiritual books and last year a psychology book called "ምን ሆኛለሁ?",But Still I have a list of Amharic books planned to read(ofc...a lot for the English one😭)

#Day12updates

Well, today was a productive day.
I finished that little quiz app after 2 weeks of procrastinating. To be honest, most of the time passed while I just stared at it for a long time, and on some days I skipped it because I was doubting myself.

But I admitted that if I really want to learn JavaScript, I have to learn it again by building small projects like this one. So, I wrote the code myself and asked ChatGPT to mentor me without giving me the code. However, the usage limit was pissing me off because it kept interrupting me, so I switched to DeepSeek. It guided me much better, teaching me how to debug without giving me the code. Whenever there was something I wanted to do but didn't know how, I asked it using a different example and then applied the same concept to my own scenario.

It turned out to be the best way to learn because it forces you to think about how to solve the problem yourself. At the same time, it's one of the most demanding ways to learn. Sometimes, especially if you're a beginner like me, it will test your patience and make you question whether you made the right decision to learn programming.

But I think that's completely normal, guys.
You may feel upset because you're not learning as fast as you want to, or as fast as the people around you seem to be. But remember, this phase will pass too. One day, you'll laugh and say, "WTH was making me think like that?" 😂 (Well... I haven't reached that stage yet, but I'm sure one day you'll understand well what you're struggling to learn now, and not just with skills even with life's obstacles, you'll eventually figure them out 👍)

I'll keep doing as many practice projects as I can this summer, and then I'll see whether I'm ready to move on to the next step... or not. Anyway, we'll see...

I can't screen-record and post what I built like I used to when I was on campus because I'm home now with only a 100 MB internet package. 😭🤭 But I'll definitely do it once I buy a night package.

After finishing that, I continued watching and finally finished a podcast featuring a former U.S. secret agent on The Diary of a CEO. I loved it so much, and I highly recommend it. She has been a guest there about three times, and I'll watch the remaining episodes soon.

Then I sat down and continued reading my unfinished fiction book. Now I only have about 30 pages left before I finish the second book in the Throne of Glass series. 🎉
I also listened to a Hangul podcast today, although I didn't study vocabulary.

I am going to watch my long waiting series but I don't have the energy meselegn maybe reading a book is better...

Anyway that was my day, roughly. I hope you spent your day well too.

#Day13Update

Not quite a productive day.

Yesterday/today🤷‍♀ bicha slept around 5AM cuz I couldn't sleep at all IDK why,then woke up around 10am and then began coding around 1pm but then,the light went off but still done some coding.
While watching Hangul podcast and just talking to mom the time passed by ... and yeah I was listening to Luna's VC😁

I finished the crown of midnight last night and I am going to begin the third one which is Hire of fire now.
I was planning to talk for a while gin my phone will switch off if I continue like this...
