Uniswap goes live on Robinhood Chain – Link

Uniswap v2–v4 and UniswapX launched as the primary AMM on Robinhood Chain, a new Layer 2 built by Robinhood Crypto. The integration enables swaps and liquidity provision for Robinhood's tokenized stock products.

Matters because: This could bring retail brokerage users into DeFi and expand tokenized-equity liquidity, though usage on the new chain still needs to prove out.

Fed Chair Warsh's inflation comments push BTC back above $60,000 – Link

Bitcoin moved back above $60,000 for the first time in over a week after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh said inflation risks had eased. ETH, SOL, and DOGE also traded higher, even as the Fear & Greed Index stayed at 20 (Extreme Fear).

Matters because: Dovish Fed commentary can support risk assets short-term, but sentiment still looks deeply cautious.

Bitcoin spot ETFs post 10th straight day of net outflows – Link

Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net outflow of $295–296M on July 1, with BlackRock's IBIT leading outflows at -$219M. Grayscale's BTC and Morgan Stanley's MSBT had modest inflows, while Ethereum ETFs turned slightly positive at +$14.8M.

Matters because: Persistent BTC ETF outflows suggest softer institutional demand at current prices, while the ETH inflow hints at rotation rather than broad capital flight.

Bitcoin long-term holders shift back to accumulation – Link

Glassnode says BTC long-term holders moved from net distribution to net accumulation, adding an estimated 50,000–100,000 BTC over a 30-day window. Accumulation is broad-based across small and mid-sized wallets, while the largest whale cohort remains neutral.

Matters because: This pattern often shows up during weakness and can help support a price floor, though confirmation from the biggest holders is still missing.

Nasdaq distributes TotalView market data on-chain via Pyth Network – Link

Nasdaq selected Pyth Network to distribute its institutional-grade TotalView full market depth data on-chain for the first time. The feed was previously available only through traditional paid subscriptions.

Matters because: It may improve DeFi oracle accuracy and signals more willingness from major TradFi infrastructure to integrate with public blockchains.

Daily news snapshot: Altcoins watchlist

1. Allora (ALLO): +35.5%

• Market cap: $68.73M
• ALLO rallied sharply over the past 24 hours, with no specific news catalyst identified in available sources beyond general momentum in AI-agent-linked tokens.

Matters because: The move lacks a confirmed driver and the token's relatively thin market cap can amplify volatility.

2. Re Protocol (RE): +15.1%

• Market cap: $109.38M
• RE extended gains amid continued market attention on real-world-asset narratives, though no single confirmed catalyst was identified for the 24h move.

Matters because: This may reflect sector-wide rotation into RWA names rather than a project-specific event.

3. Uniswap (UNI): +12.2%

• Market cap: $1.98B
• UNI rose after Robinhood launched its Ethereum L2 "Robinhood Chain" with Uniswap as the primary liquidity provider for 24/7 tokenized stock trading.

Matters because: The partnership gives UNI a concrete catalyst tied to tokenized stock trading and new chain adoption.

Ondo Finance launches first regulated third-party tokenized U.S. securities – Link

Ondo Finance, partnering with Broadridge, launched tokenized versions of BlackRock's IVV ETF and Micron shares that stay within the existing U.S. regulatory custody chain. Token holders also get full proxy voting rights.

Matters because: It shows a compliant path for tokenizing U.S. securities without issuer sponsorship, which could help broader institutional RWA adoption.

Bitcoin spot ETFs snap 10-day outflow streak with $222M net inflow – Link

SoSoValue data shows BTC spot ETFs brought in $222M net yesterday. Fidelity's FBTC led with $166M, followed by ARKB with $91.8M, while BlackRock's IBIT saw a $40.4M outflow.

Matters because: A return to net inflows after 10 straight outflow days may signal improving institutional demand, though one day is not enough to confirm a trend reversal.

Taiko fully restores cross-chain bridge after $1.7M hack; token surges up to 136% – Link

Taiko completed a multi-stage recovery, including an independent security review, just 10 days after the bridge exploit.

Matters because: A fast, transparent recovery can help rebuild trust, though the post-hack token surge may also reflect short-term speculation.

BlackRock ETF wallet moves 20,359 BTC to Coinbase over 4 days – Link

Onchain monitoring shows a BlackRock ETF-linked address deposited 4,917 BTC, worth about $301M, to Coinbase yesterday. That brings the four-day total to 20,359 BTC, or roughly $1.22B.

Matters because: Large exchange deposits from an ETF custodial address can point to redemption-related selling or rebalancing, creating near-term supply pressure even as ETF inflows improve.

Securitize tokenizes $295M of its own stock on Solana and Avalanche – Link

Securitize, newly listed on the NYSE, tokenized $295M of its own shares across Solana and Avalanche, making it the largest issuer-sponsored tokenized stock at launch.

Matters because: Issuer-led tokenization is gaining traction and could pressure competing third-party stock-tokenization models.

MetaMask launched “Money Account” — self-custody yield + payments on Monad – Link

This week MetaMask launched Money Account, a self-custody account built on Monad using the mUSD stablecoin. Users can earn up to ≈4% floating APY automatically via Morpho, with Aave integration coming, and use the same account for swaps, perpetuals, and prediction markets without manual transfers.

Matters because: Wallets are starting to look like full financial platforms, which could improve on-chain retention and DeFi TVL over time.

SEC opens public comment period on ETF rule overhaul – Link

The SEC has opened a formal public comment process to review its framework for novel ETF products, including crypto-linked funds, leveraged strategies, and prediction market ETFs. SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the goal is to balance investor protection with market innovation.

Matters because: A broader ETF listing framework could eventually expand the crypto product set and create a medium-term regulatory tailwind.

Standard Chartered and Circle launch institutional USDC minting and redemption via DIFC – Link

Standard Chartered became the first global systemically important bank to offer institutional USDC minting and redemption without requiring clients to hold direct Circle accounts.

Matters because: This lowers friction for institutional stablecoin use and signals growing traditional-bank participation in on-chain dollar infrastructure.

Ethena’s TVL spike shows how narrative-led growth can fade fast – Link

TVL climbed sharply into late 2025, peaked near $15b, then rolled over hard into 2026 and has since stabilized around $4.8b. Fees (annualized) still print $367m, but revenue lands at just $12.4m — meaning most of that goes to users, not the protocol. Market cap sits at $718m against a $1.16b FDV, with $ENA at $0.077.

The pattern is the same: capital arrives fast when the narrative is strong, then reassesses when yield durability comes into question. At current levels, the market is essentially pricing in a much smaller, steadier-state Ethena — not the $15b peak version.

Paid social is still an expensive way to buy attention

This CPM chart tracks Meta, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok from 2021 to 2024.

The data comes from Gupta Media’s 2025 social CPM tracker, and the pattern is pretty clear: Meta stays near the top for most of the period, while Snapchat spikes above $10 in late 2023 and again in 2024.

The useful part is the average CPMs:
• Meta: $8.19
• TikTok: $4.82
• YouTube: $4.99
• Snapchat: $8.60

In simple terms, paid social can still scale reach, but it is not the place to assume cheap quality. For fintech and Web3, that makes it better for education, retargeting, and message testing than for pretending every click is strong intent.

Daily news snapshot: Altcoins watchlist

The Black Bull (ANSEM): +22.8%

• Market cap: $146.4M
• CoinGecko linked the move to viral airdrop and community-coordination activity.

Matters because: Speculative capital is still chasing narrative-driven tokens, but the holder-distribution warning makes the rally higher risk than large-cap moves.

QANplatform (QANX): +22.4%

• Market cap: $24.4M
• 24-hour volume rose sharply versus the prior day.
• A clear same-day catalyst was not evident from the source data.

Matters because: Sharp moves on thin or catalyst-light setups can reverse quickly.

Vanar Chain (VANRY): +24.3%

• Market cap: $12.8M
• CoinGecko says there is no clear narrative attached to the move.

Matters because: Price spikes without a confirmed catalyst often depend more on momentum and exchange flow than on durable fundamental change.

Crypto market added modestly over the last 24 hours, with BTC still setting the tone – Link

The global crypto market cap is about $2.24T, up roughly 1.0% in 24 hours. Bitcoin traded around $63.2K and still set the tone, with about 56.5% market dominance.

Matters because: BTC remains the main driver of market direction, and dominance this high suggests risk appetite is improving only gradually, not rotating hard into smaller assets.

DeFi protocol Summer Finance exploited for $6 million – Link

Summer Finance suffered a flash loan attack that caused about $6 million in losses.

Matters because: The exploit is another reminder that smaller DeFi protocols remain exposed to security risks.

Coinbase "system upgrade" adds tokenized stocks, options, AI advisor, and B20 standard – Link

Coinbase announced a broad product expansion, spanning tokenized stock trading, pre-IPO perpetual contracts, crypto and equity options, and more.

• SEC-registered AI investment advisor
• Global unified liquidity between US and international platforms
• Crypto-backed mortgages
• B20 token standard on Base for on-chain asset tokenization

Matters because: This is a wide regulated-exchange expansion, and the B20 standard plus tokenized stock offering could accelerate on-chain capital markets on Base.

Vitalik Buterin outlined a 3–4 year “Lean Ethereum” rebuild – Link

Vitalik said Ethereum’s next phase would be a near-total redesign over three to four years. He pointed to major changes in data storage, quantum resistance, and finality, and said the effort would be comparable in scale to the Merge.

Matters because: Even as a long-dated roadmap item, it reinforces the idea that Ethereum is still pushing hard on scalability and security rather than staying static.
