Jon Hopkins released his new album 'Singularity' a month ago, but I just got to listen to it since I finished a coding challenge that lasted for a month. If you want to concentrate on your work but still listen to some good music - put this album on repeat and smash these tasks one by one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sk0uDbM5lc
I haven't posted in awhile here due to intense education in the coding sphere. BUT I have a nice update for you:

JIBBERISH HOOKS

Have you ever heard a song where instead of lyrics full of meaning you hear something like: "Bu ka ti ti waka, boom boom"?

Well, I have. And I seem to notice a pattern here, because these hooks sit in your memory tighter than any other rich and sophisticated ones.

Check some famous examples out:
(1) Kanye West – Lift Yourself (scoop-diddy-whoop)

(2) Big Shaq – Man's Not Hot (skibidi pop pop)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M_5oYU-IsU

(3) Little Big – Skibidi (well, you see it in the name already)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDFBTdToRmw

(4) Future – Bum Bum Tam Tam (lul)

All of them could be described as "Earworms", meaning that you'll definitely repeat one of these later today when you'd be washing dishes or smth like that 😁

So, the question is, if you want people to quote your song as much as possible, should you really overthink your lyrics? Or just give people some energetic flow and let them get their booties "shook"? It's up to you to decide.
you can blame me for being late, but I just discovered Frank Ocean and his music is awesome https://oddfuture.bandcamp.com/album/nostalgia-ultra
