New Release: Multilogin 5.7 Unity BETA
New:
• Stealthfox core has been updated to Firefox 79. Existing profiles need to be updated to be launched
• The amount of notifications that appear when launching and closing browser profiles has been reduced
• Team members can no longer move profiles from groups with a "Launch" permission to groups with a "Launch, edit and create" permission
• Performance of the application has been optimized for users with 1,000+ browser profiles
Moving profiles from "Launch" to "Launch, edit and create" groups
Previously, team members could move profiles from groups with a "Launch" permission to groups with a "Launch, edit and create" permission. This created a possibility to edit profiles that weren't intended to be edited.
This possibility has now been removed, and this change can be seen in the "Move to group" modal of the user interface.
If a user wants to move a profile from one group to another, profiles from groups with "Launch" permission will be selectable, but profiles from groups with "Launch, edit and create" permission will not be selectable.
If a user attempts to move a profile to a group that they don't have access to, a warning icon with a tooltip message will appear to warn the user that the profile will no longer be accessible to them.
Checkbox selection has also been removed from this UI.

Recently, Multilogin service has been subject to numerous attacks. We've previously dealt with various attacks also, but they mostly targeted our users to gain access through brute-forcing or social engineering account passwords.
However, these recent attacks solely aim to disrupt the normal operation of the service. After analyzing attacks, we have reasons to believe they were an attempt to compete with us unethically. We are not surprised given the sheer popularity of Multilogin across a number of communities.
Be assured, we are putting every bit of effort required to protect the service and enable its stable operation. For security reasons, we cannot post updates on changes we implement, but we do a lot because we care about you and your business.
After the most recent attack today, we tightened certain limits that were leaving a loophole for attackers. We've made every effort to configure limits in a way they wouldn't affect non-malicious users. However, if you are doing automation or running another type of operation at a larger scale on Multilogin and have reasons to believe more strict limits affected it, please contact our customer support. Our engineering support will look into your case personally and help to resolve any potential issues.
As of now, all attacks have been repelled, and the service operates stably.

• The content of notes randomly switch places between profiles if many profiles are open at the same time
• Browser profile data was not saved if the profile was closed using API or after CookieRobot finished crawling

We do not recommend updating your system to the latest macOS 11 Big Sur.
The latest update has introduced many compatibility issues with various applications. Multilogin was affected as well. Users who have updated to Big Sur may have issues with launching profiles and saving profile data.
We are closely monitoring the situation and implementing fixes where possible. Please stay tuned.
