CSAT is a pain for most of the coaching institutes.

In the last 6 months I have observed the following:

1. Coachings take CSAT lightly during the initial phase of the exam cycle. They don't hire any teacher for CSAT. Even if they do, the quality is questionable.

2. As we approach November -December, coachings hire part time CSAT faculties whose expertise is not CSAT. This is done to make conversions in their CSAT Test Series, which is a major chunk of their revenue.

3. Some big names also come to promote the CSAT faculties of their institutes to get YouTube views. However, these CSAT faculties are removed owing to limited YouTube views.

4. The level at which UPSC is asking CSAT questions, not everyone can teach CSAT now.

You have to be mindful and careful while choosing your CSAT faculties. Don't blindly follow a coaching banner.
