呢一次工程重舖咗紅磡站附近路軌嘅道床，並同路軌換咗全新組件，嚟應付日後頻密的過海班次

而要暫停列車服務俾工程人員施工嘅安排，喺世界各地包括倫敦、巴黎、紐約同東京等大城市都十分常見
