The signalling on the Ma On Shan Line automatically adjusts and maintains extra safety distance since the 8-car trains have been introduced ✅
Trains would then sometimes come to a stop before reaching the designated stop mark, which causes them to have to move forward in unstable slow speed 🚆
The issue has now been solved through the signalling upgrades in preparation of the opening of Tuen Ma Line Phase 1

1140 荃灣站架空電纜供電故障，荃灣綫列車現來往 中環 至 葵興，預計 5 分鐘一班 — Due to power failure at Tsuen Wan Station, Tsuen Wan Line trains serve Central - Kwai Hing, est 5 mins interval
荃灣站附近的架空電纜受損
於停電區域內未能開動的列車仍會佔用路軌，而相鄰供電區的列車亦會受影響
架空電纜的受損部分預計需要 3 小時方可修妥，車站職員正安排乘客有秩序離開車廂
