4️⃣ Start mining — once you find a valid Cat, you get a 25-second window to mint it
Reality check: ⚠️ This isn't casual mining.
New mints are landing roughly every 5 seconds, and a competitive card (RTX 4090-class or better) can still take 24+ hours to find one. You need to stay active near the end of that window — miss the 25 seconds and it's gone.
Renting cloud GPU power is an option, but the math rarely works out once you factor in rental costs against the odds of landing a Cat before someone else does.
Bottom line: if you already own a high-end GPU sitting idle, it's a low-downside experiment. If you'd have to pay to participate, the expected value looks thin.
