Long time no see!

I guess it’s absolutely normal for each of us to have some periods of time when we try to figure out what the next step is.

I’ve made a couple of super massive steps about changing my life in this very year and to be honest I think only now I started to realize how big those steps actually were.

A chain of new circumstances and ideas that came to my mind after making those decisions led me to a paradoxical place - Bali.

It’s become quite a cliche to follow the idea of giving up on everything and going to some places like that without a real understanding of why you’re doing it. I guess the main problem of doing anything like that is our ego that is working for our safety and originally much stronger then any other way of thinking in ourselves.
However, I think that I already may share a couple of conclusions about the concept of going to the end of the world:

1) Despite the fact that this concept is a cliche you still need some guts to do it

2)Ego is going crazy before you do the step to the unknown, but when it’s all done you’re kind of proud of the fact that you control it and it’s not the opposite.

3)It’s really cool to do such experiences totally sober, cause you may feel it on all 100%!

At the very end of this year I’d like to wish you all a real good adventure in your life.
When I’m saying this I’m just sure on 100% that every one of us can make our own life as interesting and exciting as we can imagine and even way beyond.
If you know you need to change something - change it. Don’t wait until tomorrow.
The only thing that I’d like to suggest you by this moment is to do all of those life changing steps with love to you and to people around you.
Even if it’s hard decisions, unpleasant truth and stuff like that...face it with love.
I think it’s the only good and ecological way to organize a true adventure for our life, which I guess everybody could potentially want and deserve at some point.
Adventure starts when there is finally a space for the truth, so start it. Start it with love.

So let’s talk about a challenge a little bit 🏋️

I’ve been going through the time when I needed to make some unusual, maybe even extraordinary choices that could potentially affect my lifestyle in many different ways.

Basically speaking I’ve got 3 options of the outcomes:

1) Chill-out guy lifestyle
2) Comfort zone lifestyle
3) The most difficult and hardworking lifestyle that I can imagine at this point

So, why do I choose the option №3?

Because I’m curious.

There is a variety of reasons to choose any of those options, but as for the curiosity it drives me more than any of the other things.

It’s like choosing the path to your home that you’ve never used before.
It’s interesting what is there.
It’s also risky though.
Maybe there is no way on that path, maybe it is full of unexpected snakes,mosquitoes or some other creatures and problems that might make your way to home complicated, difficult or maybe even unbearable.
But maybe it is the most blissful, beautiful and amazing road that you could ever take. You just don’t know it yet.

So, by this point I prefer to figure that thing out.

After 6 months I’ll comment it, I promise 😉

“Never wrestle with a pig - you end up dirty and the pig likes it”(c)

I’ve recently seen this phrase and it gave me a couple of flashbacks to my own experiences of that.

It’s incredibly bracing realization of the fact that so much time and energy could be saved without wrestling with those “pigs”.
Once you understand the importance of the ignorance to that unnecessary wrestlings your life might be changed in a tremendously positive way.

But there is one even more important moment which sounds like a question - “I don’t behave like a pig, do I?”
In my opinion, we should always start any judgement with this question and try as much as it is possible to answer it honestly.

If the answer is a clear “NO”, than there is some space for the NO to immoral people. But if the answer is YES or at least not very certain, maybe it’s better to reconsider the strategy.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.(c)

The quote above is just a reminder to all of us that sometimes to become something beautiful it takes some time, work and patience.

When we look at a “butterfly” on some social-media we might easily forget about the “caterpillar” stage.
At that stage the caterpillar wasn’t that beautiful, could not fly and the only capability of it was eating some leaves non-stop.

The most important part that we easily skip is about the transformation.
We don’t pay much attention to what is going on with that caterpillar at the stage, we don’t want to look at it cause it’s not pleasant,we would like to see the result as quickly as it is possible. Right now.

But If we stop for second and think about what is going on with the caterpillar at the stage of being in a cocoon, we might realize that there is a literal death of that thing happening in the cocoon.
The thing must stop being a caterpillar before it becomes a butterfly. Otherwise the evolutional part will just not be completed, which is a problem for the world in a sense or at least just not a beautiful thing.

How much time does the cocoon stage take? God only knows.
In real life I guess it depends on the number of things that should be burnt and transformed inside before everything is finished. It probably depends on the ability to take the first step into the unknown and trust the process.
Also, the speed of the transformation might probably be connected with other creatures around and in case if they respect the cocoon stage and don’t disturb it with some reminders that the caterpillar is supposed to do caterpillars business, the speed is faster rather than slower.

As it’s all a part of a natural process we should respect it and remember that when it’s happening to us or to some people who are close to us, it would be better just to let it happen.

Don’t forget about it when you see someone beautiful, especially inside.

I haven’t finished reading it yet, but I already may say that is probably one of the books that may really be helpful in all peoples lives.
If I ever had a chance to put it in the curriculum of the High school program I would have definitely done it.

Absolutely great Man’s work, for ages I hope.

I`ve recently started to read this book with some of my students and I would say that this is the case when I personally started to read it on my own! Incredibly interesting and easy to read! Highly recommend, just to LET YOU know :)
