That's how my 0% DD experiment is going 😂
Strats were restarted on 3 October, so it's only third day of actual work for them, but you can see that 0% DD doesn't exist.
ProQuant team should fix the process of calculating the drawdown during backtest. That's the conclusion.
I am continuing building 95-100% winrate strats with 4+ years of backtest by the way, it takes so much time to find good ones, I have 40 more to find. The goal is 99 strats with 20+ monthly % return.

I came up with an interesting way to increase profit from 100% winrate strats.
Let's imagine that we are waiting for some important economical news for EUR/USD and we have many 100% winrate strats for it, some of them have positions opened in different directions.
We can pause all of them before news release to turn off their TP.
Then strategies that guessed the right direction will get much more profit than they would get by hitting TP.
Other strats that were opened with opposite direction will go to drawdown and wait for the market to recover just as they would do it without pausing them.
So we can multiply our profits and compensate losses more effective.

I have finally finished generating 99 strategies with 95-100% winrate, about 20-25% average monthly return and 4+ years of backtest, it was so hard and took a lot of my time! Simulation has started this morning.
Release in a month, if experiment will be successful.
The next idea I'm going to test is finding strats with 3-6 years of backtest with 100% dynamic trade size, which means that if they are exist, then they haven't ever lost 100% of the whole trade. Of course they will have less return, but more safe.
Have a good day!

I decided to remove strats that made super bad moves recently and share them here, so you can try to tweak them and improve.
Today or tomorrow I will add 50+ strats that have been simulating for last 3-5 weeks to my main account in simulation mode, I will publish them as they get 5 trades, so you guys will have many to choose from.

Guys, I'm sorry, but I rechecked the info and found out that The Curator has died on my second account. So it's not safe to run this strat and I've unpublished it. I don't want my strats to steal your money. I will post another ones next week.

Hello, dear subscribers!
There was no updates in my blog for a long time. I keep trying to find best strategies for you, but it takes a lot of time to test it.
I've seen a lot of strats that were performing good and stable in backtest, but as I started them, they were just loosing all their budget and stopped.
This is the post about how to prevent it OR just to know what to expect.
E.g. you have found a strategy with many years of backtest and 100% static trade size.
You should know that strategy's performance at the start of its work highly depends on a good entry point.
You might see the situation when you've added a good strategy in your list, but next day you see that its backtest changed to 0% return and 100% drawdown. This is what I'm talking about.
All you need to do is open your strategy, switch it to dynamic trade size, and find a trade size that will keep your strategy alive. Then you can switch to static.
Of course the return will be lower than expected...

...but you may be sure that there will be enough money for this strat to run after a huge drawdown at the start.
Or you can run it with 100% static trade size, but you will keep in mind that it can go to drawdown and it won't be a surprise for you. Also you can just restart this strategy after it has lost it funds, because you will understand that it was just a bad entry point.

Results of my experiment with 100% winrate strategies.
I had 99 strats with $200 budget per each, total budget was 99 * 200 = $19.800
After 1 month of simulation I have $3 profit with active strategies, but 10 strategies have lost their funds, so they lost $2000 in sum and the result of experiment is -$1997 (-10% if account's initial budget).
All the strats were backtested for 4+ years.
For me it looks like if you are trying to use only 100% winrate strats to raise your capital, you can be sure that you will lose your money. Some of them are being lucky yet (Psycho, Moonlight etc.), but in longterm even with many strats and diversification in different instruments it definitely won't work. Results of profitable strategies someday (or just from the start) will be erased with loosing ones.
I'm not going to forget this account, I will remove strats that have made huge mistakes and keep only profitable ones. I will take a look on them after 1 more month of work. After removing bad strategies, I have 26 strats with $1.5k total profit ($5200 their summary budget, so their result is 28%). So from my experiment, 76% of 100%-winrate strats performed like trash in first month.
