During my current stay (my 2nd visit to the island of Tobago itself for lectures/seminars - although the previous one was briefly passing through after a seminar in Trinidad) I have come to see that our brothers & sisters here live in an environment quite different to what we in the UK & similar lands are accustomed to.

The island is surrounded by sea - the Atlantic and the Caribbean - and filled with palm trees, coconuts & bananas growing naturally. An environment those from the UK and such lands would consider ‘exotic’...however, here it is nothing more than simply “home” to Ahlus-Sunnah of the land.

Another distant land where Salafiyyah has reached, a small island barely visible on the map, yet how tremendous an affair that a book such as “Kitāb at-Tawhīd” has reached this tiny island thousands of miles away in the ocean, a group of Muslims have been coming together every night these last few days - as we will tonight Insha’Allah - to sit and study its chapters together...
