🗣️ *The Cure For Constant Whisperings From the shayṭān*

❓*Question*: What advice do you have for someone who’s affected in the ṣalāh or outside of the ṣalāh, regarding the ṣalāh, with wiswās regarding meticulousness in certain things that the shayṭān may cause within them, like doubt. So, for example, did I pronounce “Rabbanā wa laka al-ḥamd” properly? Did I say Sūrah al-Fātiḥa? Did I make a mistake that changed the meaning? Should I make over my wuḍūʾ? You know, did I prostrate properly on the seven pieces? Or maybe I, perhaps I didn’t. Should I make over that sajdah? So they’re constantly being bombarded by these shubuhāt. How is that so? Why is that happening to them? And what advice could you offer him?

📄❝……the very fact that you have this wiswās and these doubts are coming to you is an indication of the fact that you’re fearing Allāh ʿAzza wa Jal and the possible punishment of Allāh ʿAzza wa Jal And you’re fearing your standing with Allāh. You’re fearing that your action that you should be doing, you’re not doing them right. This is the presence of Taqwá and cognisance of Allāh ʿAzza wa Jal And so, know that your Lord is more merciful to punish you for you stuttering with Bā in Bismillāh. or that you’re uncertain whether the ḥā of Alḥamdulillāh exited correctly. These are nothing but doubts that are presented by the Shayṭān. And Allāh ‘Azza wa Jal is more merciful than to punish you for those actions, Ikhwān, that are nothing but conjectures on your behalf. Know that your Lord is Raḥīm know that your Lord is Raʾūf And know that Allāh ‘Azza wa Jal has present- or revealed a Dīn that is easy, that was intended to be easy. Do not make it hard upon yourself,…❞
