डिजीटल पेमेंटला प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी नीती आयोगाने भाग्यवान ग्राहक योजना आणि डिजी-धन-व्यापारी योजना जाहीर केल्या आहेत. याद्वारे वैयक्तिक खर्चासाठी डिजीटल पेमेंट करणाऱ्या ग्राहक आणि व्यापाऱ्याला बक्षीस दिलं जाणार आहे. डिजीटल व्यवहाराच्या क्षेत्रात गरीब, मध्यमवर्ग आणि लहान व्यापाऱ्यांना आणण्याच्या दृष्टीने या योजना आखण्यात आल्या आहेत. नॅशनल पेमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडियामार्फत या योजनांची अंमलबजावणी होणार आहे.

25 डिसेंबर 2016च्या पहिल्या सोडतीद्वारे योजना कार्यान्वित होणार असून 14 एप्रिल 2017 रोजी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर जयंतीदिनी महासोडत काढण्यात येणार आहे.

रोकडरहित व्यवहार करून व्यवहारातली पारदर्शकता वाढवण्याबरोबरच काळ्या पैशाला आळा घालण्याचे आवाहन पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी केले आहे. डिजीटल व्यवहारांना चालना देण्यासाठी केंद्र सरकारनंही काही प्रोत्साहनपर सवलती काही दिवसांपूर्वी जाहीर केल्या आहेत.

हवामानाचा अंदाज, कृषीविषयक सेवा, सल्ला यासह कृषी क्षेत्राशी संबंधित आणि शेतकऱ्यांना उपयुक्त अशा सेवा उपग्रहामार्फत देण्यासाठी हवामान विभाग आणि भूविज्ञान मंत्रालय कार्यरत आहे. उपग्रहामार्फत मिळणाऱ्या माहितीचा कृषी क्षेत्रासाठी उपयोग व्हावा याकरिता भारतीय अंतराळ संशोधन संस्था आणि कृषी आणि शेतकरी कल्याण मंत्रालय एकत्र काम करत आहेत. इस्रोचे रिसोसॅसॅट-2, रिसोसॅसॅट-2ए, काटॉसॅट-1, कल्पना-1, इन्सॅट-3डी, इन्सॅट-3डीआर हे उपग्रह कृषी क्षेत्रासंदर्भात मोलाची मदत करत आहेत. कृषी क्षेत्राशी संबंधित विविध घडामोडींचे व्यवस्थापन आणि नियोजन करण्यासाठीही ते उपयुक्त आहेत.

Union Government launches Lucky Grahak Yojana, Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana to promote digital payments


The Union Government has launched Lucky Grahak Yojana to encourage consumers and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana to encourage merchants for transition to digital payments.


These award based schemes were launched by the NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) Aayog, government’s policy think-tank.


*These schemes aim to give cash awards to consumers and merchants who utilize digital payment instruments for personal consumption expenditures.
*They will specially focuses on bringing the poor, lower middle class and small businesses into the digital payment fold.
National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) will be the implementing agency for these schemes.
*Transactions using USSD, UPI, RuPay and AEPS will only be covered under these schemes. Digital payments made through credit cards and e-wallets won’t be covered.
*To ensure focus on small transactions incentives will be restricted to transactions within the range of Rs 50 and Rs 3000.
*The winners shall be identified through a random draw of eligible Transaction IDs by software to be especially developed by NPCI for this purpose.

Lucky Grahak Yojana
Under it, consumers making payment through digital mode will get chance to win minimum Rs 1000 each every day or Rs 1 lakh per week.
15,000 winners will get cashback prizes of Rs 1000 each every day starting on 25 December 2016 (Christmas) and ending on 14 April 2017 (Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanthi).
In addition, there will be weekly awards worth Rs 1 lakh, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 for 7000 people. On last day of scheme mega prize winner award will be announced. He will get Rs. 1 crore award.

Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana
This scheme is for the merchants across the country. Mandatory for merchants to have POS (Point of Sale) machines for undertaking cashless transactions.
Under it, merchants doing business using POS are eligible to win Rs.50000 per week from 25 December 2016 to 14 April 2017.
3 Mega Prizes for merchants will be of Rs 50 lakhs, 25 lakh, 12 lakh for digital transactions between 8 November 2016 to 13 April 2016. It will be announced on 14 April 2016.

Desert National Park records 11 Great Indian Bustard births

The Desert National Park (DNP) in Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) witnessed successful birth of 11 Great Indian Bustards (GIB). With this, the figure of critically endangered species reached to 151. GIB is popularly known as ‘Godawan’.
It is Rajasthan’s state bird.
It has been exterminated from almost 90% of their former range due to habitat loss and poaching. IUCN has listed GIB as Critically Endangered (CR) species in the Red Data Book.
It is listed in Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act of India, 1972.

Rajiv Gandhi airport achieves carbon neutral status

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) or Hyderabad Airport has achieved carbon neutral status.

It is the first in the Asia-Pacific region in the 5-15 million passengers per annum category to attain this status.

It is the second airport among all categories in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve carbon neutral status.

Earlier in September, 2016 IGI (Delhi) Airport was recognised as the first airport in Asia-Pacific to achieve carbon neutral status among all categories.

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY -NRLM)

DAY-NRLM is a flagship rural poverty reduction program of Union Ministry of Rural Development.

It launched with an objective of social mobilization, financial inclusion and sustainable livelihoods promotion.

It aims at creating effective and efficient institutional platforms for rural poor by increasing household income through sustainable livelihood enhancements and improving access to financial services.

One of its major focus areas is promotion of existing livelihood portfolios of the rural poor in farm and non-farm sectors.

Mahila Police Volunteer Initiative launched in Haryana



The Mahila Police Volunteer initiative was recently launched in Haryana.
By launching the initiative in Karnal and Mahendragarh districts,
Haryana became the first state to adopt this scheme.

Haryana has inducted the first batch of 1000 Mahila Police Volunteers.
These volunteers have already been trained by the state State Police Authorities on their role and responsibility.

The Mahila Police Volunteers scheme envisages creation of a link between the police authorities and the local communities in villages through police volunteers who will be women specially trained for this purpose.

NSG:

Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) is a multinational body concerned with reducing nuclear proliferation by controlling the export and re-transfer of materials that may be applicable to nuclear weapon development and by improving safeguards and protection on existing materials.
Interestingly, the NSG was set up in 1974 as a reaction to India’s nuclear tests to stop what it called the misuse of nuclear material meant for peaceful purposes.

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill 2014, which was introduced in Rajya Sabha in 2014, was recently cleared with 119 amendments.

The legislation, drafted to make Indian laws compliant with the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities, will replace the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995.


Highlights of the Bill:

~The number of disabilities listed rises from seven in the 1995 Act through 19 in the 2014 bill to 21 after the amendments, including acid attack and Parkinson’s disease.

~The Bill has also laid down provisions to allow the central government to notify any other condition as a disability.

~Now individuals with at least 40% of a disability are also entitled to benefits such as reservations in education and employment, preference in government schemes and others.

~The bill sets the government a two-year deadline to ensure persons with disability get barrier-free access in all kinds of physical infrastructure and transport systems.

~It recognises the need for reservation for them in promotion and makes special mention of the rights of disabled women and children.

~It defines many terms vague in previous versions, including what constitutes discrimination.

~According to the bill, the District courts may bestow upon two types of guardianship: limited guardian (who has to take joint decisions with mentally ill person) and plenary guardian (who can take decisions on behalf of mentally ill person, without consulting them).

~A penalty will also be slapped for violating the rules of the Act. The 1995 Act did not have any such penal provision. However, 2014 Bill had made violation of any provision of the Act punishable with a jail term of up to 6 months, and/or a fine of Rs 10,000.

न्यूनगंड मार्गदर्शनएका खेड्यात एक शेतकरी रोज शेतातल्या विहिरीतून पाणी भरून घेऊन घरी यायचा. यासाठी तो दोन बादल्या काठीला बांधून नेत असे. विहिरीवर दोन्ही बादल्या भरून तो घरी जायला निघे. माञ त्यातील डाव्या बाजूच्या बादलीच्या तळाशी एक बारीक छिद्र पडलेले असल्याने त्यातून थेंब थेंब पाणी गळायचे. शेतातून घरी जाईपर्यंत त्या छिद्रवाल्या बादलीतून निम्मे पाणी वाटेत सांडून जायचे.असे रोज व्हायचे. एके दिवशी त्या गळक्या बादली कडे पाहून चांगलीवाली बादली म्हणाली, "बघ, मी किती मालकाच्या उपयोगी पडते. पूर्ण पाणी त्याच्या घरापर्यंत नेते. नाहीतर तू पहा, निम्मे पाणी वाटेत सांडत येते"हे ऐकून त्या छिद्रवाल्या बादलीला वाईट वाटते.दुसऱ्या दिवशी शेतकरी जेव्हा दोन्ही बादल्या घेऊन विहिरीकडे निघतो, तेव्हा ती गळकी बादली त्याला म्हणते, "मी तुझी मेहनतवाया घालवते आहे. निम्मेच पाणी घरापर्यंत मी नेतेय. तर तू मला टाकून देऊन नवीन छान बादली का घेत नाहीस ?"यावर शेतकरी हसून सांगतो, "वेडी आहेस का ? तुला माहित नाहीये कि तू किती छान काम नकळत करते आहेस. नीट पहा, आपल्या वाटेवरच्या डाव्या बाजूच्या कडेला छान छान हिरवळ फुलली आहे. त्यात छान छान फुले देखील उगवली आहेत. ही डावी बाजू पहा किती चैतन्याने रसरसलेली आहे. ही तुझ्या बाजूची डावी बाजू आहे. ही तुझ्या त्या गळक्या थेंबाची कमाल आहे आता उजव्या बाजूला पहा. त्या बाजूच्या बादलीतून एकही थेंब गळत नसल्याने त्या साईडला कसलिही हिरवळ उगवलेली नाही. फुले तर नाहीच नाही!!गेल्या अनेक महिन्या पासून मी देवपूजेसाठी जी फुले नेतोय ती याच डाव्या बाजूची आहेत. माझ्या या देव कार्यात तुझ्यामुळेच जी फुले फुलली त्यांचा मोठा वाटा आहे. त्यामुळे तळाशी पडलेल्या छिद्राचे तू अजिबात वाईट वाटून घेऊ नकोस !!हे ऐकून ती गळकी बदली शहारली. मनापासून आनंदित झाली !!: दोष कोणात नाहीत ? सगळ्यात आहेत. त्यामुळे मी चांगला, तो वाईट, असे म्हणण्यात काहीच अर्थ नाही. पण त्या दोषातून जर कधी कोणाचे भले होत असेल तर तो दोष त्या व्यक्तीने "अभिमानाने" मिरवावा. आधी थोडा काळ इतर लोक याला नावे ठेवतील. पण अंतिम सत्य पाहिल्यावर तेही नतमस्तक होतील !!✍एक सुंदर सुविचारसमस्या नाही असा "मनुष्य" नाही...!आणि "उपाय" नाही अशी समस्या नाही...!!☄Be Positive☄,,,
