My unsolicited suggestions to the Home-ministry committee against Delhi coaching-mafias & Landlord-mafias are as follows:
1. Fee control, Rent control, tiffin-price control in all the coaching areas across India.

2. Legally enforceable charter regarding minimum facilities & hazard-safety each coaching institute, landlord, library-owner need to provide?

3. ‘Rating-system’ for coaching-wallas similar to the energy rating on the TV/fridge for each institute. Bcoz some Coaching teachers hiring PR agencies to brand themselves as intellectuals, maasiha and robinhood via Podcast, reels. But not having good teachers, not completing syllabus on time, teaching in unsafe basements....yet making fake claims.

4. Similar to tobacco warning- a Govt advisory to students and parents to stop blind-fanboism of any teacher based on his podcasts/reels. This is a Commercial activity. Take the admission after doing due diligence of the facilities/safety/result of an institute.

5. Negative Incentives need to be created for the lazy officers e.g. demotion, dismissal. Otherwise they will be suspended for a few months and then again taken back.

6. 2024 prelims paper quite manageable from standard books through self-study, and free-resources. So, everyone should not go to Delhi/Kota. Iss flooding-disaster ke beyond bhi many problems in Delhi based preparation from Food/hygine/rent/dengue etc. UPSC/SSC/NTA etc need to take active measures to reduce the necessity of Coaching.

7. Media/ social media/ influencers need to keep the pressure on, otherwise IAS Pooja Khedkar not reported back to LBSNAA, yet it seems everyone has forgotten and moved to the next controversy. Now how many days this flooding-news will stay fresh and then again people will move to the next controversy and forget about it?
