Greetings to UTM Citizens.

We're pleased to inform that application for Brain For Future, financial assistance has opened. Hence, we hope eligible UTMians will apply for it to reduce your financial burden.

The requirements of applicants are as below:

👨‍🎓 Undergraduate students in Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA) throughout Malaysia (Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pertama/ Bachelor’s degree only)
👩‍🎓 A third-year and/or final year student.
📑 Has a minimum of 2-4 semesters left till completion of studies including short semester & internship.
📉 Comes from a financially challenged background

The following types of assistance are being offered:
💵 Monthly Allowance
💵 One-off (1 time per annum)

📌 Requests for assistance other than the above two types will not be accepted.
📌 Shortlisted applicants will be selected for an interview.

[UPDATE REGARDING ENTRY OF POSTGRADUATES TO CAMPUS]

Due to steep rise of Covid-19 cases currently, certain categories of Postgraduates only are allowed to enter campus as follows:

📌 Students that staying within 10km from campus*.

📌 Students who’re bound to scholarship/ sponsors.

Due to the quarantine orders of some of the staffs at UTM Health Centre JB by Ministry of Health (MOH), below are important announcements regarding the operation of UTM Health Centre (PKU):

📌 Only emergency cases will be accepted. Please call 07-5530999 for any emergencies.

📌 Dental treatment (through appointments) will operate as usual.

📌 Physiotherapy service (through appointments) will operate as usual.

📌 For those seeking treatments or medical checkups, please go to the nearest Government Clinic/Hospital or your Panel Clinic for treatments.

📌 Medications for chronic patients will be postponed. Hence, please visit the nearest Government Clinic/Hospital or your Panel Clinic if need assistance.

This announcement will be enforced from 11th August 2021 until further notice.
