[NOTICE FOR KDSE STUDENTS TO DO SELF QUARANTINE]

Greetings to all UTMians.

It’s our regret to inform that every students who currently resides in Kolej Datin Seri Endon ( K12 & K13) are compulsary to practice self quarantine for 4 days starting from 9th May until 12th May.

The instruction is given directly from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.

Food deliveries are also prohibited. However food will be provided to students in college throughout the quarantine period.

[MOVEMENT CONTROL OF UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MALAYSIA (UTM) JOHOR BAHRU DUE TO COVID-19 INFECTION ON CAMPUS]

Greetings to all UTMians.

The management of UTM has decided to restrict the movement of entry and exit for three (3) colleges, namely Kolej Datin Seri Endon (KDSE), Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail (KTDI) dan Kolej Tun Hussein Onn (KTHO) to be implemented immediately following the COVID-19 case infection that occurred in the UTM Johor Bahru campus. All basic necessities and food will be provided by the university to those affected during this movement restriction.

At the same time, students and staff residing on campus are requested to remain on campus until 19 May 2021 or a date to be notified later. Students and staff on campus other than the three (3) colleges (KDSE, KTDI and KTHO) are allowed to use the existing university facilities including the university library and shops on campus with strict compliance of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Based on the advice and guidance of the Ministry of Health (MOH), this temporary movement restriction measure was taken to implement contact tracing of COVID-19 outbreak infection. This action was implemented to provide space for the University Health Centre (PKU) and the management to curb infection on campus as well as to curb the spread of the epidemic.

Campus conditions are still under control. All campus residents are advised to remain calm and always be vigilant besides complying with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) issued by MOH. In addition, campus residents are specifically reminded not to perform iftar or eat together during this period.

The management of UTM is very concerned about the welfare and health of university residents and hopes that UTM residents can work together to curb the spread of this pandemic and also prevent the spread of negative or factually incorrect news. The university requested that all campus residents and the community to pray together so that the situation will continue to be under control and return to normal.

[MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER FOR STUDENTS FROM KTHO, KDSE & KTDI]

Greetings to UTM Citizens.

Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) through the Kulai District Health Centre (PKD) has issued Notice Subsection 18(1)(f) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act 1988 (Act 342), Quarantine Order (Restriction of Outgoing Movement) to control infectious diseases.

The quarantine period is from 9th May 2021 until 19th May 2021.

Here are some instructions for students from KTHO, KDSE & KTDI that need to be followed:

1. Students are not allowed to leave the college.

2. Visitors/Parents/E-Hailing are not allowed to enter the college.

For students information;

1. Food are provided for students including students quarantine in S46 (KTC).

2. Students are encouraged to reschedule flight dates for back to home.
