Update: 13/01/21 - 06.10 PM

The latest information for students at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru Campus as follows:

1) 🏬 Food arcade, market, grocery stores, computer and printing shops can only operate from 06 AM to 08 PM only.

2) 🧺 Self-service laundry is not allowed to operate according to instructions from the National Security Council (MKN).

3) 🚚 Food Delivery such as Food Panda and Grab Food are allowed until 8 pm only.

4) 🕌 Sultan Ismail Mosque has limited the number of prayer based on INVITATION only.

5) 🏢 UTM Library will be temporarily closed from 13th January 2021 until further notice

New update to students who are on campus. The operation of the shuttle bus on campus had to be stopped for unavoidable reasons.

UTM Fleet will try to ensure that the shuttle bus service operates again as soon as the situation allows.

[FRIENDLY WARNING FOLLOW OPERATING MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES]

Greetings to all UTMians.

Attention to students who are on campus, you are advised to comply with the Guidelines for Management of IPT Operations (SOP) set by the Minister of National Security (MKN) and the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Students are reminded to abide by the food purchase SOP which is
🥡 take home is allowed and ensured
🚶 physical distancing at least 1 meter.
😷 wear face mask in public and crowded places as well as in enclosed spaces mixed with crowds.

Failure to comply with this SOP will be acted upon by the authorities. Let us UTMians follow the recommendations and health advice that is often emphasized by the MOH:

🚫 Avoid 3S i.e. avoid crowded, narrow and chat areas at close range.
✔️ Practice 3W which is Wash, Wear and Warn.

Perhatian kepada pelajar yang berada di dalam kampus, anda dinasihatkan supaya mematuhi Garis Panduan Pengurusan Operasi IPT (SOP) yang telah ditetapkan oleh Menteri Keselamatan Negara (MKN) dan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) bagi mengurangkan risiko penyebaran COVID-19.

Pelajar diingatkan untuk mematuhi SOP pembelian makanan iaitu hanya pembelian secara
🥡 bawa pulang dibenarkan serta memastikan
🚶 penjarakkan fizikal sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.
😷 memakai pelitup muka di tempat-tempat awam dan sesak serta di ruang tertutup yang bercampur dengan ramai orang.

Kegagalan mematuhi SOP ini akan diambil tindakan oleh pihak berkuasa. Ayuh sama-sama kita UTMians patuhi saranan serta nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan oleh KKM :

With reference to the Special Announcement by the Prime Minister on 11 January 2021 with regards to the Movement Control Order (MCO), the Department of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) has decided that UTM student movement guidelines will be implemented starting from 26 January to 4 February 2021 for both UTM Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur.
