Seperti yang kita sedia maklum bahawa ramai pelajar mengalami kerugian tiket kapal terbang. Hal ini disebabkan pengumuman penangguhan pendaftaran secara fizikal atau bersemuka. Beberapa syarikat penerbangan seperti Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia dan Malindo Air telah membenarkan penangguhan atau penjadualan perjalanan semula kepada pelajar yang terjejas.

Salam sejahtera kepada warga UTM.

Berikutan dengan pengumuman rasmi KPT dan UTM, yang menyebabkan para siswazah tidak dapat pulang ke kampus, Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar UTM akan mengambil pendekatan untuk mengumpul maklumat pelajar yang mempunyai masalah menjalani sesi pembelajaran secara atas talian dengan sebab-sebab tertentu.

Sebab-sebab yang dikategorikan adalah seperti berikut:
1. Menghadapi masalah capaian internet dan kemudahan pembelajaran (persekitaran, peralatan dsb).
2. Pelajar yang sudah berada di JB/KL, sedang dalam perjalanan atau terkandas.
3. Pelajar yang mempunyai lab / kelas bersemuka (mengikut ketetapan fakulti).
4. Lain-lain hal berbangkit / isu.

Sehubungan dengan itu, pelajar yang menghadapi masalah yang dinyatakan di atas boleh menghubungi wakil MPP fakulti masing-masing selewat-lewatnya pada 9 Oktober 2020 untuk tindakan selanjutnya.

👀 [Resume - An Obvious Know How] 👀

In this era, we are required to prepare a resume when applying for jobs. The main reason is to see who you are, the skills and experience that you have. Most importantly, it is a way for future employers to decide if you are qualified enough for the job. Resume is a formal document that a job applicant creates to itemize his or her qualifications for a position. A resume is usually accompanied by a customized cover letter in which the application expresses an interest in a specific job or company and draws attention to the most relevant specifics on the resume. Job coaches insist that a resume should be only one or two pages in length. In Britain, job applicants traditionally are expected to produce a more detailed document, called a CV (curriculum vitae).

The following are what should be included in a resume:

1. "Personal Data": This section should include personal details such as your name, phone number, email address and relevant social media handles (optional) such as your LinkedIn profile. In most cases, you do not need to include your residential address.

2. "Work Experience": The meat and potatoes of your job application. It's where you tell your career history, your job titles, company names, job duties and years worked -- segregated into sections.

3. "Education Background": Just have to include your school names, degrees, major/minors, and optionally CGPA plus relevant courseworks.

4. "Skills": This section is usually placed after your work experience and education background. This can be a final section to highlight specific skills such as fluency in a foreign language, knowledge of computer language, professional skills, personality skill, and any job-related skills that can be of value to your prospective employers. According to statistics, a well-crafted key skills section can boost your chances of getting employed by 59%. Soft skills and hard skills should also be included.

5. "Certification and Licenses": These sections include stuff like language certification, awards and honors, volunteer work, conferences, publications, and projects.

In conclusion, we have discussed what should be displayed on a resume, namely the 5 aspects, personal data, skills, educational backgrounds, work experiences, and certificates and licenses. These five are very useful and will help you immensely during your application for either internship or work, because these essentially represent who you are.
