Наверное это последний мой пост касательно поступления, так вот, буду краток в этом послании для следующего поколения, а все написанное чисто мое мнение, поэтому если не согласны с какими либо пунктами, то мне похер.
1) Ставьте оценки превыше всего - чтобы отличниками были
2) Если сдаете SAT - то ваш минимум 1550. Сдавайте дофига раз пока не получите такой балл
3) Занимайтесь олимпиадами
4) Помните что универ это в первую очередь учебное заведение, поэтому академическая деятельность превыше любой
5) Делайте научные исследования и проекты? Как? Хз, если бы знал, сам занимался бы ими
6) Никто не верит словам, ни в эссешках, ни в интервью. А уж тем более прагматичные люди в очень конкурентной среде. Говорите результатами и только.

If you feel ready, then just chill, you're not going to learn the SAT in one week
If you DON'T feel ready, practice, but don't practice hard (You're still not going to learn the SAT in a week)

Кому НЕ стоит поступать в T30 университеты…
Тому, кто не готов много работать.
Тому, кто сейчас ничего не делает.
Тому, кто не готов не спать ночами.
Тому, кто не готов решать все проблемы самостоятельно.
Тому, кто не хочет выходить из зоны комфорта.
Тому, кто считает, что списывать и врать это okay.
Тому, кто не умеет пользоваться гуглом и не может загуглить вопрос, перед тем как писать его мне в лс.
Тому, кто не понимает и не принимает ценности американского общества.
Я не хочу вас запугивать и отговаривать, ни в коем случае. Но вы должны понимать, что учиться в топовых университетах сложно. К сожалению, у многих людей случаются нервные срывы, они вгоняют себя в депрессию и тд. Просто хочу сказать, чтобы вы хорошо думали перед тем как принимали решение о поступлении.

1) Sitting at home whole day studying for IELTS/SAT
2) Participating in 614919 MUNs
3) Sitting on Instagram/YouTube Shorts/Tik-Tok/Telegram/etc all day better delete if unpurposefully used.
4) Going to 4292 meetups with friends/relatives/others
5) Watching 47384 films/cartoons
6) Volunteering 4738593 times
7) Following 4748328 Telegram Channels on Coll/Admissions
8) Not taking Job/Internship
9) Not reading books/taking courses
10)Not starting the College App
Make a plan and take everything serious before it is already late.

Those who took SAT in May,
Do not forget that you have the option to Send your SAT scores for free to up to 4 colleges for free.
CB website: "You also have until nine days after the test to use your free score reports. After that, there's a fee.". The fee is 12$ per one college.
Where should the results be sent?
I know it's a bit early and you're probably not sure about the college list. But here are some suggestions:
1) Your ED choice (Dream School)
2) Your ED 2 choice (if ED not works)
3) One top uni that you'll absolutely apply to and go if accepted
4) USF (one safety that requires official SAT scores directly from CB)
Take this small opportunity serious so you don't have to spend additional bucks from your pocket.
