C'è chi ha fatto un esperimento al riguardo, trasformando delle foto a colori in bianco e nero e facendole ricolorare dalla AI. I risultati sono molto interessante.

Il governo giapponese ha deciso di creare il Ministero della Solitudine per aiutare i cittadini a superare l’isolamento e lo spaesamento acuito dalla pandemia e dai suoi effetti sulla vita sociale.

Da tempo in Giappone la solitudine e l’isolamento rappresentano fenomeni molto preoccupanti e non solo a causa del forte invecchiamento della popolazione. Basti pensare ai cosiddetti “hikikomori” che si isolano per scelta e trascorrono anche anni chiusi in casa senza mai uscire.

Tuttavia la pandemia sembra aver minato profondamente la vita dei giapponesi. A spingere il primo ministro Yoshihide Suga verso l’istituzione del Ministero per il coinvolgimento dinamico della popolazione - questo il nome ufficiale - un dato su tutti: nel 2020 il tasso di suicidi è cresciuto per la prima volta in undici anni, salendo di 750 unità fino a quota 20.919, quasi il triplo dei morti accertati per Covid-19 nel Paese.

Il Giappone non è il primo Paese ad avere un Ministero della Solitudine. La prima è stata la Gran Bretagna nel 2017 (ne avevo parlato qui) e anche in Italia c’è chi ha avuto un’idea simile, seppure a livello locale, come avevo segnalato in questo post.

La solitudine è una condizione che segna da tempo le nostre società e chissà che il Covid non ci spinga ad interrogarci e a mettere in campo delle risposte per affrontarla.
