Domani uscirà tilde ~ 6, una puntatona di 50 minuti piena di link e argomenti da stancare anche noi due. Più tardi la metterò su Patreon, in anticipo su tutto.
Ma non è di questo che voglio scrivere. Ci tengo a lasciare quella che secondo me è la lista dei prezzi giusti per i portatili attuali, anzi, per l'usato attuale. Perché sono in cerca di molte cose (per perdite di tempo presenti e future) e vedo richieste folli accompagnate da qualche vendita folle. Gente che spara 1300 euro per un MacBook Pro 13 di 3 anni fa, o 900 euro per un MacBook 12 del 2017, o peggio 1100 euro per il loro XPS 13 del 2020, sì valido, ma ormai fuori mercato. E ti dice: - eh, i prezzi in giro sono questi. E tu rispondi: - eh no, quelle sono le richieste, e come vedi sono tutte ferme lì da settimane.
Io, nella mia sfacciataggine da rigattiere ruspante, credo in questi prezzi:
- MacBook 12 2015: max 400€
- MacBook 12 2016: max 500€
- MacBook 12 2017: max 600€ (ma deve essere il modello del colore che voglio con batteria sui 300 cicli - e resta uno sfizio a questo prezzo)
- MacBook Pro 13 2017: 650€
- MacBook Pro 13 TB 2018-2019: 750€
- Dell XPS 13 2016-2019: dai 400 ai 600€
- Dell XPS 13 2020: max 700€
- Notebook di altre marche, buoni ma niente di che: max 550€
- Netbook senza difetti estetici, con batteria decente e schermo opaco: circa 50€
Al netto di settori o esigenze particolari, tipo il gaming o la necessità di avere un certo hardware o una certa funzione (tipo il touchscreen, la conversione in tablet, la penna), chi si avvicina ai 1000 euro non può che valutare un MacBook Air con M1. E sopra i 1200 euro si deve valutare un MacBook Pro M1. Chi è nella fascia media trova decine di ThinkPad X1, X250, T460 ecc ecc dai 300 ai 600 euro, ed è un mondo che poi con due sistemate fa le stesse cose di macchine vendute al doppio.
Poi, certo, c'è l'occasione, c'è la necessità, c'è la fregatura che dai a chi non è esperto, c'è l'ignoranza, c'è l'incaxxatura di chi ha speso 1400 euro un anno fa e ancora non crede nel crollo. Ma queste sono le conseguenze di Apple M1 e chi si trova a dover vendere deve adeguarsi, oppure tenersi la macchina e usarla. È per questo motivo che qualche mese va vi consigliavo di vendere subito i vostri laptop, se c'era questa intenzione. Col tempo peggiorerà - secondo me.

Qualche giorno fa l’Organizzazione mondiale della meteorologia (Omm) ha dichiarato che il buco dell’ozono sopra l'Antartide si è finalmente chiuso, grazie ad “una stagione eccezionale, dovuta a condizioni meteorologiche naturali e alla continua presenza di sostanze che riducono lo strato di ozono nell’atmosfera”. Quello sopra l’Antartide era il buco più duraturo e uno dei più grandi e profondi dall’inizio del monitoraggio 40 anni fa. Aveva, infatti, raggiunto il record di 24,8 milioni chilometri quadrati.
Non averlo più sopra le nostre teste è davvero un'ottima notizia!

Negozi e aziende che chiudono una dopo l'altra a causa della crisi. Succede spessissimo nei periodi come questo, anche perché il piano della resilienza è trasferito alle persone: è uno sbaglio. In Giappone ci sono aziende e negozi vecchi di più di mille anni. Mille anni! E non hanno mai chiuso. Com'è possibile? Non perché si tratta di un "popolo di vecchi". No il discorso è diverso ed è la dimostrazione, tra le altre cose, che l'economia è una scienza sociale. Questo vuol dire che assunti e principi esistono nella logica del "dipende", non nella logica del "è così e basta". Guardiamo sempre le foglie o al massimo l'albero, non riusciamo mai a vedere la foresta e tantomeno il continente.
