Il multitasking non esiste, anzi è proprio un mito. Invece, qualsiasi cosa facciamo, ci vuole un'ora (o più). Il ragionamento è "pro domo consulenza", certamente, perché si fanno pagare a ore. Però c'è un senso che vale la pena approfondire: saltare da una cosa all'altra come uccellini non ha semplicemente senso e, anche se si lavora belli concentrati, più di tanto in un giorno non è possibile fare. Invece, se si fa quello che si riesce ogni giorno tutti i giorni, con velocità regolare, alla fine della settimana o del mese si scopre che si è fatta una strada enorme. Se volete, è un po' come se ragionassimo, invece che di diete, di regime alimentari: velocità di crociera anziché sprint.

C'è un problema di fondo nella scuola, e non solo in quella italiana o in quella americana (come in questo caso). E cioè che gira attorno al tema della relazione studente-scuola senza però caire che è il nocciolo della questione.

La laurea triennale è diventata come la terza media e quella magistrale come il diploma delle superiori. Molti si sono resi conto che ci vogliono master "seri", specializzazioni, altro. E si entra nella zona del dottorato di ricerca, perché gli studenti più bravi sono quelli che sono più tentati (e corteggiati) dall'università. Ma davvero vale la pena fare tutta quella fatica per prendere un dottorato di ricerca?
