Quindici o più anni fa avevo un amico americano che una sera a cena, hamburger e una caraffata di margarita a testa, mi parlò del suo progetto di andare al Burning Man (che all'epoca era poco meno che sconoscuito dalle nostre parti) e mi invitò. Un libro che probabilmente non avete letto è "The Lessons of History", cento pagine per condensare il senso esistenziale di 11 volumi di "The Story of Civilisation" (circa 10mila pagine) scritti in 40 anni dai coniugi Will e Ariel Durant. Per quanto breve, non so se valga davvero la pena. Nel caso, si trova in rete: anche su Kindle a poco.
