C’è un movimento nelle Chiese cristiane, #ChurchToo, che sta portando a un profondo ripensamento non solo del ruolo e della dignità delle donne ma anche di dogmi e interpretazioni. Come l’idea della purità. Una forma, mi viene da dire, di cultura patriarcale e sessista: era ora che la coscienza venisse presa, soprattutto all’interno delle Chiese. Si potrebbe aprire una nuova stagione culturale della quale stiamo vedendo solo i primi bagliori?

Un po' di tempo fa una persona che ho intervistato mi diceva: "La cosa importante oggi non è capire se una persona riesce a distinguere una AI da un'altra persona, ma addestrare nuove AI a distinguere le AI dalle persone. Insomma, tempi nuovi di fronte a noi.

Il tracciato di un’ex linea tramviaria diventa un parco urbano lineare, una striscia verde lunga 800 metri a disposizione di tutti. Accade a Torino, in corso Gobetti, dove la scorsa estate l’associazione Torino Stratosferica, con l’aiuto di numerosi volontari e abitanti del quartiere, ha creato Precollinear Park.

Con una azione partecipata di rigenerazione urbana i cittadini hanno riqualificato una linea abbandonata del tram restituendola alla comunità. Il tracciato è stato ripulito, ripristinato il verde urbano e posizionate un sistema di sedute e un container giallo con funzioni di info point/bar. Da luogo abbandonato e degradato, quegli 800 metri sono diventati lo spazio di una nuova socialità: oltre al passeggio quotidiano di tanti cittadini, il parco ha ospitato vari eventi culturali, diventando luogo di condivisione e incontro.

Per continuare l’opera di riqualificazione è stata lanciato un crowdfunding a cui tutti possiamo contribuire!

Gli Expo sono i luoghi dell'innovazione? Un tempo erano proprio quello: succedeva durante le grandi esposizioni internazionali dell’Ottocento e dell’inizio del Novecento che si incontrassero le persone e le idee migliori di quel momento storico. Gli Expo erano il posto in cui si registravano i miglioramenti del mondo. Tutto merito dell’intuizione di due personaggi poco noti ma che hanno avuto un ruolo fondamentale nella nostra società: Alberto di Sassonia-Coburgo-Gotha, marito della regina Vittoria, e il signor Henry Cole, amico di corte.

Un po' di cose sulla fotografia notturna, che alla fine è la grande sfida computazionale del momento. Sfida solo parzialmente vinta, secondo me. I progressi sono stati infatti relativi, se confrontiamo ad esempio le cose che diceva Google tre anni fa con quello che sappiamo oggi.
