I Bitcoin e le altre cripto continuano a essere un'incognita. Adesso, un altro dei pilastri della loro utilità, cioè l'assoluta sicurezza dal punto di vista crittografico (dopotutto, si chiamano "criptovalute") sta venendo messa seriamente in discussione dal computer quantistico. Per il settore è un problema.
Money quote: "The risk to crypto posed by fast-developing quantum technology — which exploits the way the physics of matter works differently at atomic and subatomic levels — was once considered a distant possibility, with bitcoin widely seen as unhackable.
But digital assets firms are speeding up their preparations for a “post-quantum” age, as tech companies slash the timelines for developing practical quantum computers to as soon as 2030.
“The threat has moved from theoretical to credible,” said Ayo Akinyele, head of engineering at RippleX, the blockchain development arm of crypto group Ripple. The company is exploring post-quantum cryptography, with securing wallets as its first priority, and expects to transition its infrastructure to this within the next two years."

Nel delirio di novità con l'AI dentro della scorsa I/O 2026 Google ha presentato anche una versione dei Google Docs "live" con la quale parlare per scrivere le cose.
Ora, io che mi definisco uno che scrive per vivere (questo canale si chiama non a caso "Mostly, I Write"), proprio non ci riesco a sostituire la scrittura con il discorso orale come modalità di interazione. Cioè, penso scrivendo, non parlando. Non riesco a dar forma ai pensieri parlando, devo mettermi a scrivere e andare avanti e indietro: quando parlo ho già pensato a cosa voglio dire (più o meno). Sono io che sono sbagliato per questa cosa di Google? Boh. Dentro l'articolo c'è anche il video verticale con la demo che è la cosa più interessante da vedere.
