Near Moscow, in Balashikha, the deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Yaroslav Moskalyk, was blown up.
A leading Russian engineer who modernized electronic warfare systems also died in Bryansk, according to RBC-Ukraine sources.
Yevgeny Rytikov was the head of the design bureau at the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant — a key developer and innovator in the creation of advanced EW (electronic warfare) and ELINT (electronic intelligence) systems for the Russian army.
His car exploded on the night of April 18, right after he got in with a colleague. According to preliminary information, the other person killed in the blast was either the deputy head of the bureau or his assistant.
Sources say Rytikov was responsible, among other things, for modernizing the Russian “Krasukha” electronic warfare system.

As a result of yesterday’s Russian missile strike on Kyiv, 17-year-old Danylo Khudia was killed along with his parents.
Danylo’s classmates and friends waited near the impact site from 2 a.m. and throughout the entire day, hoping he was alive, but he never responded.
He was a student at the Kyiv Aviation College, specializing in “Aerospace and Rocket Engineering.”
His younger sister, who was inside the house at the time of the strike, survived and is currently in the hospital. Two other sisters live in different cities — all of them are now left without their parents and brother.
