On the evening of April 4, 2025, in the city of Donetsk, a triple murder was committed involving servicemen of the 120th Artillery Brigade (military unit 59361, Yurga). Another soldier sustained gunshot wounds.
It was established that at 5:00 PM, at the address 26, 60-letiya SSSR Street, Private Aleksandr Vladimirovich Deev (also a serviceman of the 120th Artillery Brigade), while in a state of severe alcohol intoxication, opened fire without any apparent reason on four fellow servicemen.
Three of them —
1. Warrant Officer Pavel Viktorovich Chumashev
2. Corporal Yegor Yuryevich Samoylov
3. Private Said Farkhatovich Novikov
— died on the spot. Another serviceman, Aleksandr Vladimirovich Severinov, was wounded.
Deev fled the scene.
Later, during his apprehension by the military police, Deev sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to the Institute of Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery.»
