Head’s up. A scammer is targeting #DV2020 and #DV2021 selectees posing as KCC. If you receive an email from kcc.dv@yahoo.com, that is not from the Kentucky Consular Center. That email is from a fraudster.

Per Morgan Miles back in September, "KCC is not able to track centrally the total number of lmmigrant Visa Electronic Applications from derivative beneficiaries." So no matter where "36,872 cases" came from, it has to be cases and not applications.

#DV2020 #DV2021 Update: On July 22, 2022, the clerk for the appeals court posted this letter concerning oral argument format. Basically, there are dozens of attorneys representing thousands of DV2020 and DV2021 plaintiffs across multiple lawsuits whose appeals share this consolidated hearing. In the interest of efficiency, the appeals court does not want to hear from every attorney. We will confer with counsel in the other lawsuits and work on a response to this filing by the August 12 deadline.

Note: Ok.. so we have a hearing in September in the appeal. We will have a limited amount of time before the 3-judge panel. These are two proposals on how that time is used.

•Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan (appointed by Obama)
•Judge Karen Henderson (appointed by GWB)
•Judge Gregory Katsas (appointed by Trump)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE: I don't want to hear that any of my clients tried to contact any of these judges directly. That kind of contact is prohibited and could cause us a lot of problems.
