#YoungvBiden Update: Judge Chen has just entered an order setting the deadline for the government to file their motion to dismiss for Wednesday, April 22, 2021. The hearing on this motion is set for May 27, at 1:30 pm PST.

This is no surprise as it is the schedule that the parties stipulated to in the last joint status report.

#YoungvBiden Update - Here's the transcript from the last status conference- held before Judge Chen on May 28. We started out with 181 families in that case, but only 12 still need visas, so we continue to fight.

Related- I realize our "family preference"-category plaintiffs who were dismissed from Jacob case this week are frustrated seeing how the outcome was different from Young to Jacob. What is important is that we have options moving forward. This weekend we will send email to Jacob family preference category plaintiffs letting them know about a Zoom webinar for Monday, 10 am PST, to discuss options moving forward. Thanks.
