#YoungvBiden Update - Here's the transcript from the last status conference- held before Judge Chen on May 28. We started out with 181 families in that case, but only 12 still need visas, so we continue to fight.

Related- I realize our "family preference"-category plaintiffs who were dismissed from Jacob case this week are frustrated seeing how the outcome was different from Young to Jacob. What is important is that we have options moving forward. This weekend we will send email to Jacob family preference category plaintiffs letting them know about a Zoom webinar for Monday, 10 am PST, to discuss options moving forward. Thanks.

#YoungvBiden Update: Our next status conference has been rescheduled. It is now set for July 22, 2021 at 1:30 PM PST.

FAQ: We are DV2021 who did not register for Goodluck before the deadline. Now we are seeing that you are amending the complaint to make edits for existing plaintiffs, can we join now?

Answer: No. Adding plaintiffs on the amended complaint would slow us down, and that would prejudice our Goodluck plaintiffs.

While our litigation team does not plan anymore lawsuits for DV2021 selectees, we undersand Nicolette Glazer is offering a lawsuit for DV2021 who are these embassies:

Dear applicants, please be aware that as of today, the validity of all police certificates for immigrant visa purposes has been extended to two years. That means that if you have a UAE police certificate that expired over a year ago, you do NOT need a new one as long as it was issued in the past two years. Any police certificates issued by other countries you lived in in the past are valid regardless of when they were issued as long as the applicant has not returned to that country since issuance. Please also note that police certificates are not required from all countries. You may refer to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html to search by country if a police certificate is needed. Notably, police certificates from Iran, Pakistan, and Yemen are not needed.
