First time at a show premiere. What do people do at these things?

Can someone explain to me why cars are this expensive here? It makes no sense. For no reason at all, week after week, prices continue to skyrocket and I can’t figure out why. I did the math, it’s not import costs nor taxes.

Going through this guy’s TikTok about “detecting gravitational waves through atom interferometry” and this question and the answer were just funny to me. Physicists are careful NOT to observe while doing certain experiments because that would affect them. I mean, I’ve sort of learned about superposition, read about it, watched documentaries about it but never really accepted it as being a solid fact, and seeing physicists discuss it this way, like, “be careful not to observe the atoms because you’ll collapse the superposition” is so bonkers to me. The fact that possibilities can interfere with each other, unless the world has kept a record of which possibility happened, my human brain can’t come to terms with it. Bonkers
