Congratulations to the 4th MOROS Grant recipient: The Other Party!

This is exactly what we are looking for in a project that we fund. A group who are determined enough to bring radical change.

The Other Party is building the infrastructure to allow the UK public to propose, vote and implement their own laws and policy, without the need for a centralised point of failure, which is the politicians.

This project could be the tipping point that will change the history forever, and their mission alone is enough to convince the MOROS community to vote for their proposal.

Twitter Ads campaign started. We will launch few campaigns targeting different audiences.

This one is targeting developers in OG Ethereum circles.

Another campaign will traget crypto traders (with different copywriting & value propositions)

2 more proposals under review:

1. White Hat DAO
A group of seasoned developers providing contract/protocol audit services and web3 security education. Founded in December 2021.

2. AI-Powered News Aggregation and Synthesis Platform (Under development)
AI-driven web platform to aggregate, summarize, and synthesize news from various outlets, providing personalized news digests tailored to individual user preferences, enabling efficient and informed decision-making.

Team background: 5 years experience working for amazon, deloitte, Pratt & Whitney(more than 3 years experience in Pratt and 1 year in Rolls Royce).

The plan to airdrop the POD token on Christmas had to be postponed due to this one problem. We didn't realize that the main Split contract doesn't support fee/tax on transfer token.

We are working with Splits.org team to find a solution to rescue the token from our airdrop split contract.

And will find the best way to bulk send the airdrop.

The airdrop might be too small for some of you, but you need to remember that the projects that we funded are still in its infancy. You can't simply ask them for a lion share just for the airdrop.

We do this to help them (the projects), to get more people to get involved in their projects. When you receive the token, you might get curious and check their website, their tg group or twitter.

This is what we intended to do. To spark conversations about the projects.

The process of collaborating with Lokinet & Session App took longer than we expected. They took what we offer really seriously, which requires us to establish a proper form of communitcation and due diligences on their part. Which is a good sign, although it's a longer process compared to previous projects that we funded.

OPTF, the team behind these 2 projects is a registered NGO/Charity in Australia, with a duty to record and declare transactions and collaborations like this.

The grant/donation part is the easy one, we can just send the fund to their publicly available ETH donation address and call it a day.

But that's not the only point of our effort. We want to create strong allies in the Open Source Software field, we build connections and potentially collaborate on something bigger in the future together.

In the meantime, we are in discussions with CommuneAI team. With what they are doing now, this could potentially be another hub for open source and decentralized AI builders. This is a community of AI + crypto projects. So you know what that means.
